Four siblings and their spouses enjoyed this spacious home for a week. Right at the water’s edge, with a great pool and spa, it was like a self-contained resort of its own. The views of sunrise and sunset were spectacular. We fished successfully right in front of the house from the kayaks provided. We found tasty restaurants very close by (German and Thai were especially good, and the Oyster House). Very well equipped kitchen, nice art with a focus on sea life (and a giant grouper, mounted, above the fireplace), outdoor eating and visiting spaces, all made for a holiday feel to the home and grounds. The Beach Retreats staff were very helpful in answering questions and passing on fishing tips from the owner. We would go back next week if we could.
