The Cat house, so called because of the original cathead detailed picket fencing, is a multi-level home with two separate and complete living areas. This is not your normal new Keys home, it truly has the old Keys flavor with detailed woodwork and a Hemingway feel throughout. Upstairs is a spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom open concept living area floor, and downstairs also is a complete living space, with a full kitchen, dining and living area, with one bedroom and one bathroom. The two floors are also connected with indoor access if desired.
The exterior is fenced in, and has ample outdoor living space, from the wrap around upper deck, to the canal side picnic area, you will have plenty of room to stretch out! Bringing a boat? No problem, there is plenty of dock space and a boat lift for use with smaller boats. Enjoy exciting canal side living and quick and easy access to open water!

Deposits and subsequent payments are accepted in the form of personal checks. 50% of remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. The full balance must be received 30 days prior to arrival. Please note that rates are subject to change without notice and that seasonal, holiday and special events may be higher.
Regarding cancellations: 60 days prior to arrival, deposits will be refunded in full, less a $75 administration fee – this fee will be retained. If the cancellation occurs within 59 days, any and all deposits and or rents will be forfeited.

Stayed at this gem before and after Lobster mini season. The pool was perfectly refreshing after a day in the sun on the water. There are several free boat ramps nearby. Great proximity to the Looe key National Marine Sanctuary to the South East for diving and snorkeling, to the North the small islands provide ideal lobstering waters and sport fishing. A quick trip into Key West for nightlife or extended dining options yet just far enough away that Summerland key provides the peace and tranquillity we came to the keys to enjoy. The owners have obviously put a lot of hard work into making the home comfortable, well appointed with large TVs with Netflix and all the premium channels you need & really fast wifi. We are Looking forward to our next stay. Highly recommend this gem but shh…. Dont tell anyone.

They were a scam. Not a legit business. Do not send them any money. They second I wanted to provide a verifiable form of payment which would release to them upon property being actually seen and keys provided, it was clear they were a scam.
