Modern Beach Condo: Hidden Gem of Siesta Key
This modern beach condo is one of the best kept secrets of Siesta Key. While I had hoped to keep it that way, all I can offer is a ringing endorsement and review for the owners (who are incredibly kind and responsive) and the condo itself. The condo offers all the modern upgrades, comforts and amenities a discerning traveler will be looking for (Read As: It's exactly as pictured in the listing), as well as a Gulf view, lake view, private balcony and private access to Siesta's surf and sand. If that's not enough, it's also steps from local shops and eateries that comprise Siesta Village, allowing guests to delight in all the spoils of Siesta Key without the fuss. This listing is truly incomparable.

Beautiful Condo, Great Location to Beaches, Town and surrounding area
We have stayed at this 2 bed/2 bath Condo (comfortable living area, full kitchen, nice dining area, coffee bar, wine cooler) for a couple of years and will be doing so again in 2025. The condo itself has been remodeled within the last 5 years and is beautifully furnished & decorated and has all the amenities anyone would need. Simply pack your clothes and go…it’s all there! And Maria is very welcoming & hospitable and is always available if needed. My wife and I have enjoyed going down to the beautiful private (and quiet) beach (along the Gulf and with a view of Lido Key) to watch the spectacular sunsets (not to mention the dolphins!) or taking the short 8 minute walk into town for a bite to eat at one of the numerous restaurants (bkfst, lunch, or dinner) and later sitting on the balcony at night enjoying the warm breeze with a glass of wine. By day, we have walked Siesta Key beach in the mornings and on the way back, listened to some of the day time local entertainment (Siesta Key Oyster Bar!!). If interest in going off Island, Sarasota is about 15 minutes away (traffic dependant) and offers endless activities (Ringling Museum is a must see; Kayaking in the mangroves, weekend markets, entertainment and roof top bars in some of the Hotels, and spectacular restaurants). There is no shortage of options for things to do! Other places to explore beyond Sarasota include St Armands circle, Longboat Key and Anna Maria Island. If interested in cycling, Legacy Trail is a converted railroad line that offers a nice flat ride away from traffic…it’s lengthy (18.5 miles) but many people ride a distance they’re comfortable with. In summary, this Condo at Sandy Cove on Siesta Key is a great location; you wont be disappointed!!

5 Star place
2025 will be the third year in a row we have stayed here.. The place is nicely furnished, and very clean. Really nice couple, ..Maria greets us when we arrive and she and Jim were very easy to contact if we had any questions. Siesta Key Village is about 5 minute walk away, and the Siesta Key Beach a few minutes past that.[great for] people that like to take long walks on the beach.. we did this a couple of times... But..the private beach is the gem. We never really wanted to leave it. Beautiful small cove, with fishing pier, Dolphins every day, saw couple of manatees, ..very quiet and not crowded. Pictures do not do it justice. We loved it. Lots to see in the area .St Armands in Sarasota, always worth a few visits. Tour through the mangroves is a must. All in all a 5 star place to stay.
