A recently resurfaced, heated community pool sits mere steps from your door, complete with a tiki hut, reclining sun loungers, a brand-new gas grill, and a freshly surfaced patio. Soak up the afternoon sun, enjoy happy hour under the cabana, and grill fresh local seafood for dinner. Afterward, take a short walk to the waterfront Esplanade for ice cream and stargazing.
Available for a minimum of two weeks — perfect for a longer, slower stay.

Excellently located near the commercial heart of Marco Island, the home is within a 12–15 minute walk of roughly two dozen bars and restaurants, two grocery stores, and numerous shops and services.

WORK FROM HOME
Staying for a couple of weeks or more and need to work? Let me know before arrival and I'll set up a dedicated desk space — on the main floor, in the master bedroom, or both — so your remote office is ready when you walk in. Pair that with high-speed WiFi, a quiet community, and a heated pool steps away, and it's an easy place to get work done and still feel like you're on vacation.

A two-level townhome with 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths.
Main level: kitchen, living room, screened garden-facing lanai, full-size washer and dryer, and a half bath.
Second level: master bedroom with king bed and en-suite bath (remodeled in 2021) featuring a spa-stone floor, plus a generously sized walk-in closet with ample shelving and storage. The guest bedroom offers a queen bed with a JW Marriott signature mattress, closet space, and a full bath with tub and shower off the hallway.

Originally from Washington, D.C., I spent more than a decade living and traveling overseas, and I've decorated this home with pieces collected along the way. I run a contemporary art advisory firm out of Miami.
My parents, who help me with property management when I'm not on the island, are retired and live just down the street — available to assist with anything you need during your stay.

Many Marco Island rentals sit in large, crowded, multi-level condo developments where units stack on top of one another and you hear neighbors on every side. Sand Star Villas is different: just 21 units arranged in two townhouse rows, with no neighbors above or below you. The community is exceptionally quiet and is rarely fully occupied, even in high season.
There's no parking garage and no long walk to your door — you park directly in front of the unit and step inside within seconds. The garden view from the back lanai is a lovely place to start the morning, and the neighbors, owners and renters alike, are a friendly bunch who often gather for drinks around the pool in the evening.

My wife and I loved our Marco stay!! The condo is in excellent shape and nicely furnished! It had all of the amenities for the beach, pool and dining in. Matt was very attentive to our questions and easy to work with. Highly recommend this condo and hope to stay again!

Location is ideal - walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc. Condo is sunny, pleasant and comfortable, equipped with nice extras like propane grill, beach chairs, cooler, plenty of towels. Host is great!-professional, reachable, responsive and accommodating. Neighbors ( owners and renters) are friendly. It was nice having no pets in complex. Heated pool was warm enough most days- on colder air temp days, pool cooled down a bit too much. Enjoyed our stay in this quiet location and plan to rent again next year.
