Our parents purchased the model condominium in Tower 2 at Ocean Sands because it showed them a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico from the eight floor. You can see the water from the kitchen, living/dining room and master bedroom with ease. The kitchen window also offers a partial view of the dock and fishing boats on the bay side. Beautiful landscaping, a heated pool and jacuzzi, a sun deck, recreation facilities such as shuffle board, and covered parking are meshed with the natural setting of the sun, sand and sea to make Ocean Sands one of the most popular condominiums on the Suncoast.

Unique Benefits
You will never get tired of looking out over the gulf no matter what time of day. Everyone loves their morning coffee or tea on the balcony but the most peaceful time might be at night , looking at the blinking lights of the lobster boats and buoys. Clear nights are great for star gazing and the occasional meteor showers.
Why Kids Love It
Our children loved the pool and the beach and when they got older they enjoyed meeting other kids at the jacuzzi at night. They played basketball and tennis across the street in the park. Miniature golf was just up the boulevard and we could walk to several ice cream shops after dinner.
#1 must see activity is a trip to Fort DeSoto Park, voted the number one family beach in the entire USA one year, with swimming, walking trails, and of course, a fort. Other must see sites are the Dali Museum, Sunken Gardens, Museum of Fine Arts ,and the Tampa Bay Auto Museum. There are plenty of sites for pier or boat fishing and there are a couple of fishing rods available at the condo to try your luck at surf casting.
Restaurants and a Winn Dixie are within a two minute walk, fast food and breakfast shops less than a hundred yards down the boulevard. CVS and a Medical Clinic are just one minute walk away.
Great morning coffee shops only a few 100 steps from the condo. There is pickle ball available across the street at the park. Bring your own paddle or just borrow the ones we have in the hallway closet. It's a great way to get some exercise early in the day and you will meet plenty of people from the area. The miniature golf course , Public Library, and many local restaurants are all within easy walking distance. If you overdue it, there is a Medi-Clinic just up the block off Gulf Boulevard.

A maximum of four people allowed in unit. Sorry, no pets allowed. All guests are required to adhere to rules and regulations of Ocean Sands Condominiums (copy posted in unit kitchen). Taxes are broken down as follows: 6% Florida vacation tax + 7% Florida state sales tax. Ocean Sands charges each renter a $100 administrative fee to handle parking permits, etc. The cleaning fee goes directly to the crew we hire to make the condo as nice as possible for the next renter. January 2026 is still available. If you rent 4 weeks in January (1-28) you get 3 days free (29-31) , plus you can arrive on December 30th and pick up two more free days.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The unit was very clean and very cozy. I felt very at home here. The view from the balcony was spectacular and we loved viewing the sunsets evenings. The unit is equipped with everything you need for the beach! Chairs, an umbrella and noodles for the pool. I dealt with two of the owners, Laura and Peter. They were so nice and very accommodating to our needs.You will love your stay here!

Very disappointing as unit was very dirty and needs updating. No screens on windows and all carpet, appliances and furnishings appear to be from the 80s. There a nasty odor that took several days and numerous scented candles to lessen. I complained to owner who refunded my cleaning fee but I also requested confirmation that he would remedy issues before other renters had the poor experience I had but he never responded. Ocean Sands is a great building in a great location but this unit is awful and I would recommend finding a different unit

It's a shame I found out about this after you left because I would have made the company go back and re-clean. Our former crew was rehired and cleaned before our next renters arrived. We've stayed at this condo a couple of times. The unit is very comfortable and well equipped. The amazing ocean-front view from the nicely furnished balcony was a perfect place to relax, and where we ate most of our in-house meals. We also liked the safety peace-of-mind thanks to Ocean Sands' secure building and pool area. The condo owners were always pleasant, very easy to work with and extremely responsive to any questions. Anxious to return someday ... others are sure to enjoy this Madeira Beach gem!

This is a lovely, comfortable condo with a great view. I really enjoyed the deck because it had a great cabana lounge area for reading or napping. We found it very clean except for the floor. If you walked with clean feet on the tile floor, the feet would become very dirty almost immediately. The unit’s decor was really pretty and it was very well equipped. Loved the pool and the large outdoor deck where you could relax and look at the ocean without the sand. The only real criticism, which had nothing to do with the building , was the location. It’s right at the intersection at the causeway and there were many times that vehicles and motorcycles were extremely loud while accelerating up and down the road. Other than that, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this condo.

Awesome condo…with everything you can imagine. Peter the owner even emailed us during our stay to see if we needed anything…how awesome was that. Great ocean view. Awesome pool. The condo very clean and everyone should take a look at this condo with such great restaurants…grocery store.. cvs pharmacy so close by.. easy access to all you would ever need. Condo was extremely nice with many, many extras including towels, beach items, cooking utensils, seasonings etc. Most of all the condo was very clean and the owner responded quickly to any and all needs.The view was amazing and there are plenty of places to eat and shop within walking distance. Bed in MB was very comfortable and the very large patio oceanside was very enjoyable.

We had a great time in this condo which is located in the building right on the Gulf of Mexico. The apartment is very charming, in very good condition , all the shops you need are within easy reach across the street. The owner of the apartment is a very nice person- giving you all needed informations without smallest issues. We would like to rent that cute place again in the future!

AnitaBeautiful and stunning condo
Me and my family have stayed in this condo multiple times and I can't have any complains. The unit is gorgeously well kept and spacious and is ideal for a family vacation. With the unit being on the 8th floor, the view of the ocean and sunsets never fail to take your breath away. The complex also has many desirable features such as a large swimming pool, a hot tub, and a barbeque area. The condo is walking distance to a number of grocery stores, bars, and restaurants. I highly recommend this condo to anyone interested in staying and I will certainly be returning in the future.

We went to MB in July 2007 for the first time. We absolutely fallen in love with this place. Been back here every year since, different times but mostly in December. The place is spacious, huge master suite, and balcony with breath taking views. Elevator goes straight to the beach, pool and hot tub, great especially in coolet winter evenings. Owners afe very accommodate and super friendly. Cannot wait until ger back there
