Your vacation home, The Sea Turtle is located only 3 blocks from the beach on the "no drive" portion of the beach. Set up with everything you need. Completely furnished, private back yard with large deck. Great safe neighborhood. Special summer rates (June, July and August, 2024). Book each month for $2750 flat plus one time cleaning fee. Book 2 weeks $1700 flat plus one time cleaning fee. (Sales tax included in rate)

We have prepared this home for your St Augustine adventure! Located just 3 blocks from St. Augustine Beach, our home is designed with the seasonal guest in mind. The full kitchen is supplied with all cookware needed to cook or just enjoy coffee on your morning beach walk. A large private deck in back where you can relax at the end of your day. Completely fenced back yard! The bedroom has a queen bed with a large closet. We have included extras such as vacuum, iron, toaster, blender, crock pot and grill. The bathroom includes shower and tub, towels, hair dryer and complimentary soap and shampoo to begin your stay. The home sleeps 4 comfortably with a full-size futon/bed in the living area. Two sets of linens for each bed are available. We have even included a recliner in the living room. Invite your family or friends for the weekend. There is parking provided for 2 cars. Beautifully landscaped. TV and Wifi provided. A large refrigerator along with washer and dryer provided to make life easier. Walk mornings on the beach and visit the historic district. Historic St. Augustine is within a 10 minute drive. You can drive into town, ride the Red Train while learning the history of the oldest town in the US. Walk to the beach and visit local restaurants on the way back. Better yet, order take-out and relax at home watching TV in the evening. Sit on the back deck and visit with friends. Such a quiet neighborhood. You can book 1 to 6 months. Enjoy the privacy you deserve and the slower paced life St. Augustine offers. You will not want to leave. Seasonal and Northern Guests: You will feel at home from the time you walk in the door. We are located on a dead-end street so there is not any thru traffic. This beach home and quiet, peaceful neighborhood is waiting for you. The weather is great and our back deck is relaxing. We have been told from prior residents that the neighborhood is one of the best for walking your dog!

Enjoy St. Augustine with friends or family. Receive a special discount when you reserve both Units A and B during the same month or months! Huge back decks make grilling out and evening meals at the beach enjoyable!

Why Kids Love It

St. Augustine Beach is kid friendly. The Beach is flat so there is room to run and enjoy the water without getting in too deep. A Splash Park at the Pier is located on the beach. There is a small playground south on A1A and there is a large playground in the historic district. Ice cream shops are everywhere!

Area Information

Your vacation home is located 3 blocks from to St. Augustine Beach on the no drive portion of the beach with many restaurants to enjoy. The historic district is only a 10 minute drive. All shops are open downtown late. You will also be within driving distance to the Premium Outlet Mall located one exit North on I-95 and the Jacksonville area. If you desire to travel further, Florida offers the famous Orlando/Disney area about 2 hours South.( I-95 to I-4) Kennedy Space center is 1 hour South off I-95.

The annual “Nights of Lights” is November through January in the Historic District. Ride the train downtown while listening to the history of the oldest town in the US. Visit Castille de San Marcos National Monument built by the Spanish in 1672 to defend Florida and the Atlantic trade route.

Inside Scoop

Founded in 1565. St. Augustine is the oldest continuously occupied settlement of European and African-American origin in the United States. Forty-two years before the English colonized Jamestown and fifty-five years before the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock the Spanish established at St. Augustine this nation's first enduring settlement.

St Augustine can boast that it contains the only urban nucleus in the United States whose street pattern and architectural ambiance reflect Spanish origins.

It is also important to realize that 20 years after the civil war(1885) Henry Flagler decided to create a winter retreat for wealthy Americans. In 1887 his company began construction of two large hotels and then a year later a third hotel. His architects changed the appearance of St. Augustine and those building styles in time came to characterize the look of cities throughout Florida.

Touring the oldest city in Florida can be done on the Red Train which winds it's way throughout St. Augustine and you can listen to the history. Visiting the local museums you can see through paintings how St. Augustine appeared during the 1900's.
