Quiet little apt

I found a quiet little one bedroom that had all the needs I wanted. Nice little court area. 2 tvs price was good location was awesome. Only down side was the pool was under construction but they own other properties near by so I was aloud to use a pool there. The weather sucked this year. Home save and sound. Butt I always look forward to my time o. St Pete beach area.

The perfect oasis

I had the pleasure of taking my Granddaughter to Kay's beautiful condo....Beach and pool access were wonderful. Kay had absolutely everything you could think of, she even offered us a ride to where ever we wanted to go. So kind. We had an excellent adventure and can not wait to return!! Thank you Kay!! PS. Sand dollars and shells are every where.....if you are a lover of the hunt, then you will LOVE your stay here!!

Perfect Beach Condo Sunset Beach

Perfect location clean & perfectly decorated. Personal attention by owner was an unexpected pleasure. Condo is very well appointed. Owner has taken personal steps in providing everything you could imagine. Beach access and views (esp. sunsets) are terrific. Location is quiet & off the beaten path, however still close to everything. We also met some very nice people staying at the building. Looking forward to staying here in the future.

The BEST place to stay on the beach.

The location is the absolute best - steps from the beach and close to everything. Kay stocks the condo with everything you could want for your beach get-away. The condo is super clean, with new appliances and decorated tastefully. Kay is on-hand to offer any assistance when needed and responds quickly to any questions. If you're looking for a nice clean and quiet place to stay near the beach, this is the right place! I've stayed with Kay three years now and will continue to go back to Sunset Beach to her condo.

A Slice of Heaven!

A Place in the Sun is an amazing unit! Everything you need is at your fingertips. Kay, the owner has thought of everything from K-CUPS, to all the kitchen equipment needed to make your stay feel like your home. The condo is beautifully updated. The unobstructed view of the Gulf is stunning and calming. I will definitely make this place my go to condo! Thank you Kay

Top notch!

We stayed at A Place in the Sun for 8 days this year. The condo is always consistently amazing. It has everything you could want to make you feel like you're staying at your very own place. It was red tide, but fortunately the condo has a pool! We were lucky that we were still able to swim! Ms. Kay adds such a personal touch and checks up on you to make sure everything is perfectly comfortable. When we mentioned it was my daughter's 3rd birthday, she made us cupcakes and brought a little goodie bag of birthday surprises! We were once again delighted by our stay at A Place in the Sun, and I know we will be back soon!!!

Fabulous beach rental

This condo is absolutely a (10) (A PLACE IN THE SUN) what a Gem it was !!!!! Gorgeous thru and thru. Upgraded from the granite kitchen to the beautiful bathroom, bedroom,and living room. Decorated with a cozy clean beach theme. This condo was equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing beach stay. Extra beach chairs,towels and toys. Super clean. Super location to the beach access. Super close to restaurants. What a find !!!! Totally would recommend !!!!!!

Relaxing stay

This condo is amazing! It’s set in a quaint neighborhood of Treasure Island, right on Sunset Beach. The condo has been updated & was immaculately cleaned. Kay made sure I had everything I needed for my getaway. She has beach towels, beach umbrellas, chairs, and even coolers! The kitchen had everything as well. Kay answered any questions I had right away, and even made sure to tell me all of the local spots for food and drinks. The condo is steps from the beach, and walking distance to restaurants and bars. If you’re in need of a relaxing getaway at the beach, I highly recommend staying here.

Sunset Beach Getaway

We had a great time on our girls Labor Weekend trip! This condo is the BEST on Sunset Beach hands down. The sunsets are beyond perfect! We used the paddle board, walked the beach, did a little shopping and relaxed on this beautiful beach. The beach was not crowded at all but close enough to walk to some fun places. Caddy’s and Katikis are right down the street. We headed to Caddy’s for cocktails and Sunday brunch. Katikis has a nice outdoor bar with a live band. The host, Kay, is local and she always leaves us welcoming goodies on every trip. Thanks Kay for a great trip!

Another lovely stay with Kay!

This was our second time staying at "A Place in the Sun." It was as perfect as last time. Kay is a wonderful hostess. She always makes sure we are comfortable and checks on us while we are there. It really adds a personal touch. The condo is located perfectly across the street from the Gulf of Mexico. It is surrounded by many amazing places to eat. If you prefer to cook at home there's a great Publix with friendly staff that is right up the street. The condo is well stocked with toiletries and kitchen gadgets and cooking tools. It has tons of extras including charcoal, sand toys for the little ones, two awesome TVs, a super comfy bed and a super comfy pull out sofa bed. There are so many wonderful comforts and amenities about this location, that it would be impossible to name all of them. Last time we vacationed here, my daughters were 9 months and 2. This time they were 2 and 4. It was great at both ages the girls were when we stayed. It truly feels like home. I am happy that we chose to stay here again, and I look forward to going back to my favorite place, Sunset Beach! Do yourself a favor and stay here for your next get away. You will not be disappointed!

Relaxing Girls Trip

Thank you, Kay! We had a wonderful stay at your place. Love the bathroom and that you had a dishwasher! Always great things to have. The only thing I would say that was not very comfortable was the bed. The mattress is a bit too soft for my back. Everything else was amazing. The beach is right across and restaurants are just a walking distance. I can’t wait to come back and I will always recommend your place! Thanks again.

A little slice of heaven

My eight year old son and I had the pleasure of spending 5 nights at Kay’s darling property over our Christmas break. This property is spotless and updated. The condo had everything we needed, and then some. It is directly across the street from the beach! I am a big fan of the location on sunset beach. My son and I could walk to Caddies one direction, and to the board walk and dog beach in the other direction. I have rented many properties throughout the states and one thing I really appreciated was having the opportuntiy to meet and speak with Kay in person. This is not only an amazing property, but a fantastic hostess as well! I am looking forward to our next stay : )

Excellent location, welcoming proprietor

This condo was located across the street from the beach, easy access and so convenient. The owner was helpful, the place was clean and included all the essentials to minimize our luggage/packing. Items provided included basics like cleaning supplies and bedding while beach extras like chairs, towels, and an umbrella made everything feel like home. The condo is well maintained with a new couch, comfortable bed and everything in good working order. Laundry facilities are available and currently cost 1.50 a load to wash or dry. The "shared" pool is located at the condo across the road with the beach right there and a shower for washing off sand. We loved having the pool beside the beach. We ate out about once every 4 days and used the kitchen facilities to cook the rest of our meals. We stayed 3 weeks and when we tried to book this same condo for 2019, its already sold out. We got in on a cancellation this year. This condo is at the quiet end of Treasure Island and our excellent and helpful landlady (thank-you Fay) is helping us to find an available unit in this complex for next year. Many of those staying in this area have been coming for over a decade so if you like a more quiet area book early. WONDERFUL vacation location and this was reasonably priced accommodation, good value.
