Unique Benefits
My husband Dale and I purchased this house next door August 2021 from our neighbor who was raised there in the 60's. The house was built in the 50's and the family was the sole owner for all those years. We loved the charm of the house
including the original terrazzo floors and screened in porch overlooking the lagoon and private dock. The floor plan is ideal for getting away and relaxing in Old Florida. Step back in time with all the modern conveniences of today.
We care about your stay next door. You aren't just a number. Come be our guest
and know that we will offer you hospitality and suggestions about the best local spots and happenings

About the owner: About Anne Marie and Dale-
We were inspired to purchase this second bungalow because we thought having the house next door could be priceless in the future. We love this location so much that when our neighbor was selling we grabbed it fast! They are not making these charming beach bungalows any more.
We delight in caring for and renting this home. We have met wonderful people that are now returning annually. Please love and enjoy our home. It is our pleasure to assist you during your stay.
Why this property? We moved here in 2015 from Vermont where the wind chill can be minus 40 on Lake Champlain. Although we love the Green MountainState, nothing compares to
the tropical paradise we have at The Banyan Tree Bungalows on Siesta Key.
We love to walk and bike the beaches and swim in the ocean. There are always season tickets to enjoy in beautiful Sarasota and kayaking on the Lagoon never gets old. We also both have a passion for gardening and puttering around at both properties to keep them manicured and ready for guests. I love swinging in the hammock of the Banyan tree and looking up at the palm trees swaying in the breeze. We are located on the water and the sunsets are heavenly. Come enjoy the simple pleasures of Old Florida!

The Bungalow is well designed as a beachy vibe...great location right on Midnight Pass. It is located at the quieter end of the key which we found more relaxing...great walking. The owners of the Bungalow are very respectful to our privacy. It sits on a lagoon with a small dock and furniture to enjoy the sun. We have stayed at the bugalow four times and found it to be clean and well supplied with kitchen utensils and towels and bedsheets.... We have entertained family and friends at the bungalow and all enjoyed their stay with us.

Michelle, Thanks for taking the time to review Banyan Tree Bungalows. You and Ed are among our favorite return guests. You two do a great job of keeping up with work while you vacation. It's your working vacations that inspired me to add the larger working desk to the accommodations. We hope to see you in October. You will find that Dale added irrigation to the backyard and we have added Mexican Sunflower plants along the new privacy fence and a lemon, lime and grapefruit tree in the backyard.
Banyan Tree House
Once pulling into our destination we were extremely surprised to see how calm and tranquil the location was. The house had everything that was needed for our 5 week stay. Once inside we could see the attention to details that Anne Marie and Dale gave this lovely bungalow. Everything was extremely clean and newly updated. Anne Marie and Dale were excellent hosts and help with our plans to visit the best locations in town which we did. Siesta Key beach is the most beautiful one I have ever been on and I've seen many, also the downtown "The Village" is awesome with many shops and restaurants. The back deck on the lagoon was visited many evenings for sunsets which were exceptional. Overall I would say that we had an excellent time with no problems and will consider a return visit.
