Come to Beechwood Cottage and BE OUR GUEST and enjoy beautiful first tier views of the Gulf of Mexico in our spacious 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath duplex. Just steps to the waters edge with an excellent view of the Gulf of Mexico from both levels. Cable TV, Telephone, Wireless Internet, Weber charcoal grill, comfortable furniture, nicely equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, screened porch, private outside shower, and dedicated boardwalk to the beach are featured in this home. Located in the popular Barefoot Trace community about mid-way down the Cape. Perfect space for a small family.
This home comes with everything you should need! All bed and bath linens are supplied as well as all cookware/dinnerware/glassware in the kitchen. You need to bring beach towels, as the home will only have bath towels. We also provide an initial supply of toilet paper, garbage bags, laundry, dish and bath soap.
This home comes with WiFi and cable TV. You must be 25 years or older to reserve. No events allowed.
Relax as you watch the Gulf sunset on the screened porch. You will love the unobstructed Gulf view and sounds of the ocean from our private upper deck off the Gulf facing bedroom. Stargaze at night from the upper deck while listening to the waves crash. We are only 70 steps from the porch to the community boardwalk and beach. A lower ground level deck is located underneath facing the Gulf with a private shower as well as a charcoal grill.
You will sleep in comfort with the master king size bed that features a walk in shower tiled in Travertine. The guest bedroom features a queen bed and in the bathroom you will be able to soak in the tub as you finish your day. For additional guest they will sleep comfortably on the queen sleeper sofa.
During the day you will enjoy watching the waves in the ocean and you can fish the seas. Rent a boat at Scallop Cove and enjoy the bay. Take a bike ride on the dedicated bike paths as well as in St. Joseph State Park. There are numerous places to explore and unwind. Get away from the busy lifestyle and unwind at The Cape. The beauty of Cape San Blas will make you want to come back again.

Area Information
Located about mid-way of The Cape and close to both of the stores. If you forget something for your stay Scallop Cove and The Trading Post just about has it all. Enjoy coffee, ice cream and Weber donuts while you stay down at the Trading Post. The Cape is 17 miles long and has the most beautiful white sugar sand beaches that you will find. Enjoy a day at St. Joseph State Park. For our guest we provide a kayak to use while you stay with us. You will need to bring life jackets for your use. Take the kayak out to the bay to use or on a calm day in the ocean.
One of our favorite things to do while on The Cape is to hunt crabs at night and build a fire on the beach. Just dig your hole, light the fire and enjoy while roasting marshmallows for your smores.

Inside Scoop
Get to Webers Donuts early as they sell out fast. If you miss their donuts go down to Scallop Cove and see if they have any left that they make every morning. There you will find biscuits, sandwiches and you can even fill up a growler of your favorite local brew. The ice cream shop down at the Trading Post has ALL your favorite flavors as well and Amavida Organic Coffee from a local roaster. If you want good pizza, Hunts at the Trading Post has an amazing "Meat Lovers" and they make all of their menu items fresh to order. Grab a family picture down at "The Rocks" as you come into The Cape. Get your firewood from Scallop Cove or The Trading Post.

A damage deposit of $300 is "authorized" on your credit card the day of arrival and is released after departure and the unit is cleaned and inspected.
We can do a minimum of 3 nights from 3/1/21 to 5/15/21 and 8/14/21-to 12/31/21. Just request your days on the inquiry. Extra charge for holiday week. THERE IS A $200 CLEANING FEE ADDED TO EACH BOOKING IN ADDITION TO THE 12% FLA BED TAX. Our cleaner does a great job and adheres to all Florida Covid cleaning specifications,- Check in is now 4PM in order to allow the cleaners to clean extra , check out is 10a.

What time is check in and check out?
In order to provide the level of cleaning for our home you are allowed to check in at 4 pm on the date of your arrival and check out at 10 am on the date of your departure.
How many parking spaces do you have?
Underneath the home there is a designated space for Beechwood Cottage guest that can accommodate two vehicles and there is a designated space to the left of the common steps in front of Beechwood Cottage that will accommodate one vehicle.

Our stay on Cape San Blas was everything we could want. Our house was perfect for us, well equipped for all that we needed, from dishes to beach chairs! Beach practically at our doorstep, restaurants close at hand, small grocery store a few blocks away, seafood market close by, some clothing/knickknack stores handy, and the town of Port St. Joe was not far away for church and anything else we could need! Can't wait to come back next year!!

We just returned from a wonderful stay at the Beechwood Cottage. The description and pictures do not do it justice. It was better than described. The cozy cottage has been well maintain and is exceptionally clean. There are views of the gulf from almost every window and it is just a few short steps to the community's dedicated beach access. We will definitely consider staying at the Beechwood Cottage for our next trip to Cape San Blas.

Starting with owners, everything was great. Easy fast communication Beechwood Cottage was as described down to the charcoal grill including charcoal and lighter. The rates charged made this one of the most competitive place on that section of CSB. I highly recommend Beechwood Cottage!️

JoyA great long weekend
We had a short stay of 4 nights, but loved the stay. Even though the unit has houses in front of it, there was a view. The walk to the beach was maybe 50 yards. Beach supplies were provided as stated. My only suggestion would be a light on the bay side entry door. It's very dark after the sun goes down, and entering the unit then was a bit difficult.

This is hands down the most well equipped rental home we’ve ever stayed in. The owners thought of everything you need for a great rental experience. The home is very well maintained and very clean. Short walk to the beach and great gulf views from the master suite and the screened back deck. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

My husband and I stayed a week at the Beechwood Cottage in August. We walked through the door to a very emaculate house. Very cozy and nicely decorated. The view of the gulf was awesome! Just a very short walk to the beach which was great! Nice fully stocked kitchen. The owners are great to work with...Thanks Seth for checking in on us to make sure everything was in order. We will rent this again!

My husband and I recently stayed in Beechwood Cottage in Barefoot Estates. We could not have asked for a better location or view. The condo was beautifully decorated and very clean. It was also well stocked with everything we needed to cook with as well as for the beach. The condo is only a few steps to the beach with a private boardwalk. Very easy to run back to the condo if needed. Seth and Brittany were very easy to work with. We hope to be able to stay again soon.
