Florida is known to have its fair share of sharks in its waters. There are certain areas that attract more than others. If you are a fan of getting up close and personal than this is the list for you! There are options to dive with these amazing creatures or see them from a distance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Where to see sharks in Florida<\/b><\/h2>\n

Gasparilla Island State Park, Boca Grande, Fla.<\/b><\/h3>\n

This state park attracts bull sharks and hammerheads. Beach goers can sometimes see fins from a distance. This is definitely a spot to potentially see a shark from a safe distance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Delray Beach and Boca Raton, Fla.<\/b><\/h3>\n

This beach has blacktip and spinner sharks in its waters. They have a large population that goes up into the 1000s.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sebastian Inlet State Park, Fla.<\/b><\/h3>\n

This state park has a variety of blacktip and spinner sharks that can be seen from the beach. Typically there are more out in the warmer months. Surfers beware!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Shark Tooth Capital of the World: Venice, FL<\/b><\/h3>\n

Although you won\u2019t see many live sharks here – this area is known to have lots of prehistoric shark teeth washed up on shore. They even have a shark tooth festival annually.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Palm Beach Shark and Turtle Dives<\/b><\/h3>\n

Palm Beach has lots of reefs which attract all types of sharks. Some types you may see here are hammerheads, nurse, lemon and many more. There are also a wide variety of sea turtles to view. This area is known for scuba diving, which is a great activity to check out if you want to get up and close and personal with these sea creatures.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dry Tortugas National Park, Key West, Florida<\/b><\/h3>\n

Dry Tortugas is known for its nurse shark population. These are their mating grounds and they are often studied here. This park also is the home for endangered sea turtles.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Florida Shark Diving, Jupiter<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n

Florida Shark Diving<\/span><\/a> offers a great way to see sharks in their environment up close. They have many different options for all diving levels. If you are more comfortable you can also just view from the boat.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Keys Shark Diving, Marathon<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n
