Experience weightlessness like a water based astronaut on the new Colossal Curl, combining funnel and wave experiences.
At SeaWorld Orlando you’ll find Aquatica, the location’s water park that offers animal encounters, thrilling rides, and so much more that will make the your entire family smile. The Dolphin Plunge sends riders through enclosed tubes racing through the dolphins’ environment. Ihu’s Breakaway Falls is a free-fall, drop slide that offers the ultimate thrill. For little ones, Walkabout Waters is a playground of water with colorful slides and excitement. Roa’s Rapids takes rides through an action-filled river complete with high tides and geysers.
The most famous name on our list is for sure Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon. It’s huge! With one surfing lagoon being a massive 2.5 acres to be exact. The lagoon features waves up to six feet high. There’s also Shark Reef, a 362-gallon saltwater reef environment where guests snorkel amidst fish, coral and plant life typically found in Caribbean waters. You can even swim with sharks. Gangplank Falls takes families through the rapids of a 300-foot-long waterslide aboard a four-person intertube.
Right next to LEGOLAND you’ll find LEGOLAND Water Park. Perfect for families with children under 12. The Joker Soaker is a family-favorite with three levels of slides and a 300-gallon water bucket. The DUPLO Splash safari is for little ones ages five and under featuring shorter slides and larger than life DUPLO creatures. The Build-A-Raft River is the park’s version of a lazy river where families can build their own LEGO creation.
Ahoy mateys, come try out Buccaneer Bay on your next trip to Weeki Wachee or surrounding Tampa. This is the only spring-fed water park on our list and has very cool 72 degree water. You’ll love just how fresh that feels! Buccaneer Bay is a nice add-on to the attraction that features the legendary Weeki Wachee mermaids. With a lazy river, a children’s water play area, and three slides including the Pirates Plunge waterflume, it’s a hot spot during warmer months. The daily mermaid shows are included with admission to Buccaneer Bay.
Take in some sun on our sandy white beach or jump in for a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear spring waters, the ideal spot for swimming and snorkeling. And no need to worry, there are certified lifeguards everywhere! To really kick back and relax, rent an inner tube and take a cool, lazy float on our natural river that slowly flows around the swimming area.
When you need to take a snack break, you and your family can picnic in one of our many covered pavilions, purchase refreshments at our concessions, or enjoy a delicious meal at our seasonal restaurant. You are welcome to bring premade food for your picnic. Grilling/cooking is not permitted.
Sailfish Splash Waterpark is a two-acre facility with exciting attractions for the whole family! How does a 1000 foot lazy river sound? What about two four story tall water slides including a 200 foot closed flume “Speed slide”? Wow! Little ones can enjoy the 7000 square foot interactive splash playground with jets, sprays, and a “dump bucket”. There’s a challenging cargo net, a picnic area for eating, and over 700 deck chairs.
The attractions are endless at Rapids Water Park. For those who love thrill rides try out BIG THUNDER. You’ll hear the screams from the distance as riders take sharp turns through a dark tunnel before the rumble of a full 45° drop that accelerates the multi-person raft into the immense funnel. BLACK THUNDER is an intense ride that takes place in the full dark!
Get ready for a spine-tingling, heart-pounding, brain-draining vertical plunge. The Brain Drain features two 70-ft. high enclosed flume waterslides. Each slide is uniquely designed with different slide patterns but are simultaneously launched at the same time.
