Florida’s Top 12 Seafood Restaurants for 2021
Joe’s Stone Crab | Miami Beach
“Absolutely the best seafood restaurant I have ever had the opportunity to eat at.
From start to finish the meal was outstanding.
Had the stone crabs and they blew my mind with their sweetness and greatness. I’ve had stone crabs from Houston, TX the Gulf area and these don’t even compare. Was not sure on the mustard sauce that is served with them but that too blew my mind away with it’s own great flavor.
The lobster roll was full of lobster and to finish it off the key line pine was off the hook definitely one of the best if not the best seafood restaurant anywhere.” – Google Review
The Fish House Restaurant & Seafood | Key Largo
“I ate at about 6 different restaurants during my visit to the Keys. The Fish House had the best seafood. Their seafood linguine was beyond belief. The service was very outstanding. I will be back and I can trust this place to cook some killer seafood freshly caught. The stone crab was in season when I ate here and I had to try it. It was indeed one of the best meals I have ever eaten.” – Google Review
Landry’s Seafood House | Orlando
“The atmosphere and staff are exceptional. The fresh garlic bread is very addictive! I tried the southern fried fish, which was catfish with fries and onion straws. Sounds pretty basic, however everything was cooked to perfection. Nothing tasted greasy or too salty. In fact, I think the onion straws were the best I’ve had that I can remember. Our waiter was very attentive and super nice. This was a good first impression for me!” – Google Review
Walt’s Restaurant & Tiki Bar | Sarasota
“What can I say that hasn’t already been said. This is Walt’s and it’s nothing but the finest seafood and service. The chowder is authentic New England Clam Chowder, right consistency and great flavor. Snapper Melt is awesome, fries are great, and even though a hamburger is not considered seafood, the hamburgers are amazing. 4000+ reviews says it all! This is a seafood lover’s paradise.” – Google Review
Shells Seafood | Tampa
“GREAT! Everything I had was amazing. I had the blackened Mahi Mahi and was not disappointed. First time trying this type of fish and I loved it. It came with two sides, rice and veggies, and they were good too. To top it off I tried a bowl of clam chowder…best Chowder I’ve had in years. It had clumps of clams and was delicious. Can’t believe I’ve been missing out. The service was great and the place was clean. This will definitely be added to the rotation of places I eat at.” – Google Review
Florida’s Seafood Bar & Grill | Cocoa Beach
Captain Jim’s | Miami
“Captain Jim’s is still a seafood gem. Excellent food selections of seafood choices. I had 8 lightly fried shrimp and my friend had the whole grilled snapper. Well seafood shrimp, perfectly fried. The grilled snapper was the best I’ve seen and tasted in the 305. Very cozy hidden gem in North Miami that remains a neighborhood seafood go to spot.” – Google Review
The Lobster Pot | Sarasota
“We love this place. We eat here every time we visit Siesta Key. The food is amazing. The service is amazing. Seating can get a bit tight and parking is limited. Neat little outdoor gift shop next door. There is also a grocery store that shares a parking lot. Overall one of the best places to eat while you’re here. Stop in, you will not be sorry!” – Google Review
Big Fin Seafood Kitchen | Orlando
“Amazing ! This is a wonderful place to eat. The food is spectacular with a beautiful atmosphere. The swordfish filet was great, served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Also the calamari appetizer was delicious. Lastly, the staff here are the most helpful and courteous I have encountered. 5 stars all day!” – Google Review

“Nice small place for lunch. All the seafood was delicious with generous portions. The calamari with pasta was very good, along with peel and eat shrimp. The fish sandwich with coleslaw was quite tasty. Ending the meal with a key lime pie was perfect for a trip to the Keys.” – Google Review
Lee & Rick’s Oyster Bar | Orlando
“We had such an amazing experience at the bar that we got a bucket to go and went back there with friends couple days later! Oysters were juicy and fresh, shucked right in front of us. Smoke fish dip and snow crab were delicious as well. It might smell a little fishy when you first walk in, but don’t let that scare you off. It’s the most satisfying oyster shucking experience I’ve ever had.” – Google Review
Beachside Seafood | Jacksonville Beach
“First time here and it won’t be my last. Being from KW I love Conch fritters and Beachside Seafood has some awesome Conch fritters with great flavors and a good amount of Conch. I had the fried Mayport shrimp which where cooked to perfection. I liked that they was lightly battered showcasing the the shrimps sweet flavor. The hush puppies was nice and crispy on the outside and moist and flavorful on the inside. My wife 😍 and son had crab legs, they said they where very good (they wouldn’t share lol) I did manage to steal one of the yummy andoulille sausages from my wife and I’m glad I did. The waitress was very nice and kept the drinks topped off. I failed to photo the fritters they went quickly.” – Google Review
