About the Property
Located on Tigertail Beach and the Gulf of Mexico, our vacation home is in the beautiful South Seas Club gated complex. Property amenities include fitness center, heated geo-thermal pool, boat docks (fee), pickle ball and tennis courts. A short walk on beach path takes you to Tigertail Park and lagoon where kids can enjoy the playground, parents can have lunch or you can rent a kayak or paddle board and explore the lagoon. Guided nature walks with state Park Rangers are also available...schedule posted at park.
Comfortable, well appointed two bedroom, two bath apartment condo is located on the 3rd floor of Tower 4. Unit 308 if you are familiar with the location. Approximately 1100 square feet with full length balcony and interior entrance.
Master bedroom features a King size bed, flat screen TV, ceiling fan and en suite tub/shower bathroom with dressing area. Sliding doors access the full length balcony.
Guest room features one Queen size bed and one Twin size bed, flat screen TV, ceiling fan. Full size bath is adjacent with tub/shower. Sliding door access to the balcony.
All towels, beach towels, bed linens are supplied. Bathrooms are well stocked with TP, soap, hair dryers, shampoo, etc. If it's in any cabinet you may use it if you wish. Guests also leave behind sunscreens, lotions, shaving cream, hairspray......again, use it if you choose.
Living area has beautiful leather sofas, slate top coffee table, cherry armoire houses a 42" smart flat screen TV with DVD player. In addition, well stocked with books, card games, dominoes, puzzles and DVD movies. Start a book but couldn't finish?? Take it with you!!
Dining area seats 6 and the kitchen is very well supplied with service for 12. Glasses for every type of beverage are available. (We're a little obsessed!)
Just added a Kuerig coffee maker and a crock pot for those who like to eat at home. Also the standards...toaster, microwave, stove, full size frig w/ice maker, electric kettle, blender. The kitchen cabinets and dining closet are pretty well stocked as well. We like to suggest on your way from the airport, make a quick stop at WalMart or Winn Dixie and pick up the immediate essentials....beverages, snacks, breakfast and lunch items, so you can enjoy your first evening or day relaxing. Check out what's there before shopping. The staples are generally there for you....paper products, coffee, condiments, spices, cleaning supplies, etc. Just like before....if it's there, you may use it if you choose.
And finally, the owner's storage has a variety of beach toys and gear......chairs, sand toys, balls, beach cart, umbrellas, floats, noodles, etc. Coolers are also supplied in the dining room closet.
If you insist on doing laundry, there is a laundry room down the hall. Uses a smart card only, available in the condo. Please add funds for the next guest, in the lobby.
Our beach home is not just a rental unit. It's our vacation home as well.....we choose to share it and Marco Island with you!
Marco Island has very limited public access to it's beautiful beaches. This makes having accommodations on the beach very convenient for those daily walks. The beach here is white, soft sand that is groomed daily. Shelling is abundant and the early bird gets the sand dollars! Tigertail is also a turtle nesting sanctuary between October and May and a bird watchers paradise year round. It's a quiet, natural setting with the most beautiful sunsets over the Gulf.

Our building, South Seas Northwest, is adjacent to Tigertail State Park, a picturesque thirty-one acre natural preserve and shorebird nesting area. During the nesting months of May to December the shoreline is also a protected sea turtle sanctuary, with over fifty sites last year. The park offers a picnic area with grills, picnic tables,
children's playground, restroom facilities and a concession area with hamburgers, ice cream, beverages, etc. Also available are cabana and beach chair rentals, as well as kayak and paddle boats rentals for enjoying the lagoon.
Park rangers also provide free seasonal nature walks with information about the wildlife, plants and shells of the area. Collecting shells on Tigertail Beach is a must for any visitor---young or old! The shells and sand dollars are plentiful in the warm waters of the crescent shaped beach virtually at your door.
The Marco Island/Naples area has so much to offer --golf, fishing, boating, snorkeling, shopping, parasailing, airboat rides in the Everglades, Naples Zoo and sunset cruises. You can do as much or as little as you please. BUT--don't forget the sunscreen!!!! The burn comes fast on the Gulf of Mexico any time of year and you want to enjoy your fun in the sun.
So, if your primary tropical vacation objective is rest and relaxation, perhaps some water sports, a nap on the beach or by the pool, exploring the area shops, restaurants,and outlet malls, with perhaps a cold beverage and a beautiful sunset from your private balcony every night for good measure-----then Marco Island and South Seas Northwest is the place for you!!!!

Dates are booked only with a signed rental agreement and a minimum reservation deposit. Bookings under 30 days prior to arrival will require full payment.
Please note that we handle our own rentals for our vacation home as well as providing the keys to our guests. This is not a hotel property to "check in" and get your key. Therefore, we require a certain amount of time and can not rent on a last minute basis at this time. Please inquire.
Security deposits will be refunded after final departure inspection and return of keys. If there are any issues such as loss, damage, special cleaning, etc. you will be contacted to discuss any charges against the security deposit.
**PLEASE NOTE: Pets are not allowed per property management. If you travel with your pets, I would suggest looking at a private residence. Pets are also not allowed on the beaches.

Why this property? We had been visiting our parents in Marco Island when they retired and started spending the winter season.....yes, snowbirds from CT. So after 20 years of vacationing, the opportunity arose to take the plunge and purchase our beach home at South Seas. For us, the beach location and the property itself was ideal. The convenience of having a condo is closing the door with no worries of pool upkeep, lawn care, house maintenance, etc. Only the hurricanes to worry about! The ability to offer our home for rent was also a big factor. Since we handle our own rentals, our turnover isn't as consistent as an agent...but the wear and tear is less as well. We visit both before "high season" as well as early summer to take care of home maintenance. We have been very fortunate to have great guests who treat our home as they would their own.....this is all we ask.
