This house is located in an excellent location. Directly on the bay and just a short walk across the street to the ocean. We saw dolphins, manatees and fish from the dock. We stayed a week as a family of 10 and had plenty of room for everyone. We rented the main house and the adjoining guest suite so we had 5 bedrooms and 4 baths, one of which was off the lanai and great for when you’re wet from swimming or sandy from the beach. The enclosed lanai around the pool was great and we spent most of our time out there. The kitchen has been updated and is fully equipped. There isn’t anything I can say bad about the house. Other than the kitchen the house is a little outdated but we were fully aware of that and wasn’t bothered by it in the least. We had an amazing time and wish to return again.

Thanks for sharing your positive thoughts Megan. My family rented this fabulous home a few years ago at Christmas and we had an amazing time as well. So much space and so well laid out, it provided privacy for all family members, yet gave everyone the opportunity to share the wonderful amenities, We particularly liked the 2 kitchens plus large gas grill on the screened lanai. The kids loved the private pool and the short walk to the beach was a bonus! Looking forward to your return !

La Casa Del Sol was just what the doctor ordered after the past year. Was looking for a nice place to spend some quality time with family and friends and this place was awesome. We had the the main house for the week, and added the quest house for a long weekend. The spacious room and fully furnished kitchen was great, the pool was fantastic and the beach was almost all ours. From a great sunrise to a beautiful sunset everything you need is within minutes. Marg was wonderful to work with and the whole experience was fantastic. Planning a return trip shortly.

Kelly S.Perfect home for our multi-generational get away
Perfect location for beach lovers and introverts alike! This house is amazing! Our group ranged in age from 2 through 78 and there was something for everyone! House was very clean, well maintained and an ideal location. Marg is phenomenal and was very accommodating to our change of arrival time when possible. The heated pool was my retreat daily and the perfect size and depth for our group. The house is perfect for multiple families or friends and allows privacy for all guests when needed. We rented both the house and guest house and it was great, I’m not sure what the logistics would be like if the house and guest house had renters that didn’t know each other but it definitely would be private for both.More than enough dishes and kitchen items for us to cook all meals they even had an available high chair and booster seat. The available grill on the lanai was a gem and oh so many pool toys!I can’t say enough about the location and if you are looking to find a shark tooth or a hundred you will love all the beaches along the gulf coast of the key.
