There are NO REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATIONS. Unfortunately, the few have ruined it for the many and have corrupted the system by booking a property then continuing to shop and then cancel which leaves owners little or no time to rent the property again. BY booking, you have agreed to this and the other terms within this listing. Please purchase trip insurance if you're unsure. It is not much and owner's do not have any type of insurance to purchase for cancellations or else we would buy it in bulk. It is not the owner's responsibility if "stuff happens". Owners have plenty of their own "stuff" that happens. Just for perspective and explanation.
Your reservation will include "damage protection" which is an insurance premium paid for $1500 of coverage, rather than tying up large sums of money for deposits and the worry if those funds will be returned.

The beach was wonderful and very close. So nice to be on a private beach. The condo was fine and met out needs. A couple suggestions: the mattress on the bed was very hard and there is no outside place to sit and enjoy the weather.

Great location other than the traffic
First, the beach location was excellent. With private properties bordering the beach access, the crowds on the beach at the access were minimal - not as busy as in front of the big hotels / condos. Water was fantastic - spent nearly every day in it. Traffic crossing the street to the beach was "busy". During the day - it's pretty easy to accept while crossing. There is minimal bike lane width on the street, and traffic really didn't yield too much to you while you were on a bike. During the evening, traffic was still heavy - so much so you could hear it almost all night. It was a good thing the bedrooms were on the far end of the condo, away from the traffic, otherwise it would likely would have been hard to get some sleep. The bed was very comfortable and provided restful nights of sleep. The owner was fairly easy to work with - he did graciously accommodate us for pretty much a full last day at a reduced price for the day - we had a late flight home. Initial payments were not very hard - a drop of a check off at our local bank branch. But the payment for the additional day became very stressful on our end the day before leaving. We were already out on an excursion for the day while the agreement was made, but the owner insisted that the payment be made that day. We had to cut our excursion short, hurry back and try to get the payment made before the local bank branch closed. And then they would not accept cash, and I didn't have our checkbook along. Fortunately the quick thinking of the teller directed us across the street to a Publix to have a certified check made - which the bank accepted. We also requested some fresh towels mid-week, which never took place. I am an active triathlete and we can use a towel about two days before they should be changed. 5 towels for two people for 7 days wasn't quite enough. The last day started off chilly, but ended up being one of the nicest and most relaxing days.
