Your car will be safe in this parking spot, nowhere near the street. The Cottage is set back from the sidewalk so you are not subjected to traffic noises. Drink your morning coffee outside on the back deck or on the front porch.

Around the corner is the Tropic Cinema, in which you can watch independent and Blockbuster films. (It's closed right now due to the restrictions in place)
There are numerous bars and restaurants nearby as well as the Customs House Museum, Mallory Square's Sunset Celebration, Conch Tour Train Station, and the Red Barn Theatre. When you get onto Duval Street from the Cottage, you can go Left for the Bull & Whistle, General Horseplay, Fat Tuesday's, Sloppy Joe's. Or go right and head towards some of our best Italian restaurants: Antonia's, Only Wood, and La Trattoria. The bars in this direction are: Virgilio's , Willie T's, Jack Flats, and the Green Parrot. You are right in the middle of all of the action. The best part is if you don't want to use a public restroom, you're not too far from the Cottage.

Year Purchased: 1984
About the owner: The owner of this property is the former Magistrate of the Florida Keys from 1980-2006. He is a well-known attorney and 3rd Generation Key West Conch. He raised his family in his hometown of Key West and the family still remains in Key West. His wife who manages the property is from Nicaragua. They both speak Spanish fluently. The law office is adjacent to this property and he works there every day. The owners live down the road from this property near the Southernmost Point. So they are very close by if you need anything.
Why this property? Hard to find a place like this which is situated so perfectly in the heart of downtown and managed by some of the nicest people you will ever meet.
Perfect for our stay
Thank you to our hosts, Hugh and Yaya, were so sweet. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The location was perfect. We loved the back porch that we spent time relaxing in the morning and evening. We can’t wait to go back and stay here again.
