Venice is a beautiful city on the Gulf Coast of Florida. The area is known for it's fantastic beaches including Venice, Manasota and Englewood. Historic Downtown Venice is a great place to browse the many local shops and enjoy the many restaurants that line the streets. If golf is your thing the area is populated with many great courses for your enjoyment. Visit the brand new Atlanta Braves spring training ballpark only 3 miles away. If Tiki bars and entertainment interest you they are plentiful and don't miss the stunning sunsets while you are here.

About the owner: My wife and I now reside in Frisco Tx after being lifelong residents of Maine and Florida. Children and grandkids will make that happen! We resided in the Venice area for two years and have many relatives and friends that call this area home now. We plan on spending a couple of months a year in Venice and renting our condo the rest of the year.
Why this property? We realized that we really missed the Venice area when we visited friends last year so we decided to purchase a vacation / rental property in the area. The Plantation Golf and Country Club is such a beautiful well maintained community and is in close proximity to so many of the lovely beaches, dining and entertainment venues that make Venice a perfect vacation destination, it was a easy decision for us. The condo is also located in the Westchester Gardens neighborhood which is such a desirable and friendly area to stay in.

Our stay in Venice Florida at Plantation Golf and Country Club was wonderful and Relaxing. Our two bedroom condo was tastefully decorated and had a well stocked kitchen with everything we could possibly need. We had a view of the 9th putting green and enjoyed watching the golfers work on their game from our lanai. The property had a large heated pool, gas grills and tables and chairs for a relaxing afternoon. Several beaches were within a ten minute drive and we made numerous trips to enjoy the beautiful beaches and do some shelling. The highlight of our trip was to the Marie Selby Botanical gardens in Sarasota. I highly recommend taking the time to enjoy this Wonderful Florida treasure for the whole family. Loved the area and have already booked our stay for next year.
