David & Penne Adams
About the owner: We both play competitive softball, David on a men's team and Penne on a ladies team. We travel all over the US and usually are going in different directions. We love being able to take a break and come to the Cape for rest and relaxation and to enjoy the peace and ambiance of it. When we are there we are happy to share our home so that others can experience the Cape
Why this property? Years ago when we came to the Cape on a camping trip we loved it so much that we decided to make an investment there. That was 34 years ago when the Cape was very much uninhabited and quite a magical place. It continues to have the quiet atmosphere since there are no high rises, go cart tracks or fast food restauraunts there. There are hiking trails, lots of wildlife, parks, nature walks and even two new pickle ball courts. Even though we had hurricane damage we are in for the long haul at the Cape. It is worth it!
Hurricane Opal was our first home on the Cape. When she took it from us we were excited to find an area on the Cape to rebuild that offered more ambiance, tranquility and privacy. The beaches are very wide, less populated and offer an abundance of wild life and good fishing.

Another great stay!
This was our third stay in Flip Flop vacation rental. We consider it our "home" away from our Wisconsin home. This little house has all the amenities we need for our five week stay. It has little things like ample coat hangers in the closets, laundry baskets and mixing bowls/muffin tins for whipping up an early morning breakfast treat! The owners provide the big things, too! Last year, we were greeted by a picnic table on the deck and this year we were surprised to see the new couch and love seat as well as the kitchen range! Property upkeep is important to the owners and we appreciate the care they personally put into the rental house to keep it in good shape. Flip Flop has a super location - we really are just steps away from the beach!
