Duneside Cottage

Duneside Cottage (formerly known as "Sea Ya Later") is a quaint gulf front home with two bedrooms plus a sleeping loft. Situated at the north end of the Cape; it’s a short bike ride to St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, and just a few steps to the sand and water’s edge. Swim, kayak, paddle board and play in the Gulf and Bay.

The kitchen and both bathrooms were completely remodeled in December 2021! This included all new cabinets, fixtures, tile, stainless appliances and unique finishes. Stay tuned for more upgrades as this owner continues to invest in this outstanding property!

Most gulf front homes are much larger and made for well, large groups. Typically, in order to find a beach front home this size you must choose a condo and give up some privacy. This home offers the independence of a private home at a price a single family or two couples can afford. This is also a perfect design for our snow birds in the winter.

The deck offers both covered and sunny spaces with a great outdoor eating bar. There is a short, private boardwalk to the beach. We've also included a $250 VayK Gear credit to be used toward bikes, boards, chairs and umbrellas. Your gear will be delivered prior to your arrival and picked up when you leave.

Dogs are allowed for additional $100.00 as long as they do not exceed size restrictions and number (2 dogs and no more than 35 lbs each). Please inquire before bringing pet. No events allowed that are over the occupancy of the house or that require a chaperone. We strictly adhere to a minimum age limit of 25 for renters.

Why Kids Love It

Kids will love the expansive beach to play soccer, volleyball or fly kites. The shelling is great here. They can ride their bikes on the 18 mile bike trail that spans the length of the Cape ending at St Joe State Park.

Attractions Within Walking Distance

Walk the beach and find beautiful shells or spend an afternoon surf fishing. It is not unusual to see dolphins swimming close to shore. There is kayaking, surfing, golfing, hiking, boating, biking and many other activities on the Cape. Rent horse of a romantic sunset or moonlight ride or bike the length of the Cape. Enjoy the beautiful new scenic walkway along the bay or play pickle ball on one of the two new courts. Many vacationers have discovered bird watching in the area.
