Interaction with Guests
My goal is to help you enjoy your stay in Key West. If it's water activities, I'm your man. If you only need some guide service, no problem. A Captain will meet you at boat on arrival, check with you daily on your needs. You will have my cell phone number and can call with questions.
Many times questions arrive about charters, day trips, fishing and diving..;does not allow me to give you contact information.,
We are in Stock Island out of the hustle/bustle of Duval Street. We have great restaurants and a lot of boats. Most commercial fishing still comes out of this area. We have a walking park only across the street. If you want to buy fresh fish right off the boat, this is the area.
Adequate taxi, shuttle and city bus service. All close by. Taxis usually arrive within minutes.
From North, look for Burger King around mm 5. Turn left (South) on 5th. Go to 2nd stop sign, turn left (North) also 5th. Go 1 block to Shrimp Rd. Turn right, go about 1 block, new hotel on your left, pull into Stock Island Marina. Slip A-14. 7005 Shrimp Rd
We offer yknot as on dock accomodations, but it is a working charter boat with a great reputation with fishermen and scuba divers alike. We do extended trips to Marquesas and on to Dry Tortugas National Park . Please see our web site for more information and/or call us.
Why Kids Love It
Kids often like doing some fishing off stern and the swimming pools at marina are fantastic.
We offer back country trips in the mangrove forests and private beaches. Our boat is equipped with 4 paddleboards. Both adults and youth enjoy these trips. Many have stated it was the highlight of there vacation. Look up video at

Most newcomers to the area enjoy a trip to Mallory Square around sunset to enjoy local attractions and entertainment. Of course Duval street is close by with all it's shops, restaurants and drinking establishments.
Water activities in Key West are limited only by your time and finances.
Attractions Within Walking Distance
Enjoy the sunrise over marina in morning from the bow of Yknot. It can be very enjoyable. The golf course is on Stock island, lots of fun, watch out for all the iguanas on the greens. Bicycling, kayaking, sunset cruises all in area.
Favorite Places To Eat
Within 50 yards you will have 2 great spots. The Salty Oyster, our pool bar and Matts Place, the hotel restaurant. They are both great spots. El Sibouney is within 2 blocks, offers great Cuban cuisine and on to Hogfish and Roostica another 2 great spots close by. Key West and Stock Island are loaded with Restaurants. I tell my guests, all are good, some better than others. My favorite is "The Square Grouper" located about 20 miles East.
I guess if I posted here it wouldn't be an inside scoop. We try to help our guests with as much information as they want.. Our goat is to help them enjoy their vacation.

Guestbook comments from the owner:
Very clean and unique.
Fantastic! You couldn’t ask for anything more from Captain Ralph. The property, his enthusiasm for life and fun, I’ll definitely return....soon.
I loved staying on this boat, but you need to realize that this is a working fishing vessel set up to do charter work with some extended overnight trips - it is not a luxury boat. The galley has a very small oven and you'll be using a flat top griddle as a cook top, so don't plan on making big fancy meals.
Likewise, the shower is a pretty small affair. Plan on strolling down to the bath house at the marina for your showers if you want a large shower with unlimited hot water.
There was nothing better than sitting on the front of the boat looking over the marina in the evenings. Or sitting on the back with coffee in the mornings.
It's a pretty short drive into the main part of Key West, and you can think of all the money you are NOT spending on a hotel down there. The Marina Hotel has a shuttle that runs back and forth and that can get you down there too.
The boat was not bad. The beds were comfy but the counters etc could have been cleaner and the Internet wasn’t real good but we managed to get the Apple TV working. I figured out that besides the bathhouse which is a good walk away you could use the bathroom right next to the restaurant at the hotel. You also get use of the pool at the Perry hotel which was nice. But beware going to their Matt’s restaurant for dinner. It’s extremely overpriced and not good service. Overall it was about what we expected for staying on a small boat minus some electrical issues and the uncleanliness. Also I realize it’s key west but I feel it was overpriced.
Many thanks for Ralph and my best friend Richard ,they made my vacation one of the best i spent in my entire life .
