About the owner: Our family, Scott & Leigh Anne Knight, Tate & Meghann (Knight) Gaines have lived in Georgia all our lives and have always longed for a place on the Gulf Coast to call home. As of May 2018 we now have that place we call home in Florida. We love Disney and we love the Beach, so we now own a piece of each in Florida. We live in Oxford, Ga and we now hope you can enjoy a deluxe 2 Bedroom Condo here at Tropic Winds. Tropic Winds is a smaller Condo that has many amenities and boasts one of the Largest Balconies on the beach (10 ft x 28ft). The condo is the perfect place to stay in Panama City. It is convenient to the restaurants and shopping. The condo is very clean, decorated beautifully and furnished with all necessities. The deck is so spacious, with the best furniture and allows for the best views of the gulf and the stunning sunsets! We are already excited about our next visit!

We've stayed at many condos in PCB but this was one of our favorites. Scott was great to work with and was extremely communicative. We loved the size of the complex and closeness to the beach. The condo we stayed in was decorated beautifully. They did not go cheap on furnishings or finishes. The west end balcony was large with amazing views and higher quality furniture. The reserved parking spot so close to elevator was a bonus. Having free beach service was also a nice perk. We appreciated the little things like having liquid hand soap at all sinks, night lights, and toilet paper that wasn't paper thin. The beach and complex were quiet and not crowded, which is one of our favorite things about the west end. I would definitely recommend renting from the Knights!

Patricia C.Tropic Winds is a perfect stay condo, well decorated great location and beautiful beach views.
Condo was clean and had everything you need to have a great vacation. Grocery stores, shopping at Alvin’s and Mikes restaurant are close by and some are within walking distance. Parking garage is tight but safe. Beach chairs were comfortable and beach service was right there to help with the umbrellas. Sunsets from the west open balcony were just gorgeous.

We loved this condo! This was a corner unit on the west side so you could see the sunsets on the beach all from the balcony. The water views were breathtaking. We had great weather all week. The water was perfect and so salty I could float. We found the property overall quiet which we loved. Not a party zone at all. Very family oriented. We did not hear other people so there is a good insulation. There are 3 elevators and when all are working, there is no wait but often 1 or 2 were down which meant you waited some. We only got in the hot tub once and pool once because the beach was so good. We also went to St Andrew’s park one day and snorkeled which I would recommend. We are in walking distance to Mike’s restaurant which was the best seafood we had all week especially the royal red shrimp. And his donut shop (Thomas’s) was not far away. We could also walk to Alivin’s for souvenirs, clothes, ice cream. We went to Publix when we first got there to get our main groceries for the week but then we went to Walmart or WinnDixie for quick things throughout the week. The condo itself was clean, spacious and comfortable. All appliances and plumbing worked with no issues. The bathrooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I always bring my own pillows because we like extra. I spent most of my time on the balcony and the beach. My husband likes to chill and watch TV so he enjoyed that too. Our check in/out process was easy using the codes. We had no problems checking out by 900 we left at like 7:00 because we had a very long drive coming from Virginia. It was also convenient that there was a trash Shute and you didn’t have to haul trash to a dumpster and the chute was right outside our door. But again great insulation as we didn’t hear other people coming by. We would love to come back some day!

I cannot say enough positives to describe our lovely week at unit 1109. The unit is fully renovated and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed spending time and dining on the huge balcony. Great condo overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Condo is finely decorated with nice amenities, including tiled floors, walk in shower with glass doors, and beautiful kitchen. Beach chairs are included, as well as folding chairs for the beach - which is a nice touch. The location of the condo is unique in that it is a corner unit providing 270° views of both the gulf and the city .The owners are accommodating- allowing early check in when available.

Always a wonderful stay!! The condo is super clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. All the comforts of home but at the beach. We love the end unit with gorgeous sunset views each evening. We've stayed in this unit several times and have never had any problems. Scott is wonderful to work with! We did have issues with the elevators not working during our stay this time, but Scott kept us informed and gave us a credit to help compensate even though it was completely out of his control. They truly care about their guests!

I have never left a review for anything, but I felt this beautiful home and amazing vacation should get credit where it’s due. This condo (home) was perfect and you will not need anything when coming here except your toothbrush and swimsuit. The view is absolutely gorgeous as we watched the beautiful Florida sunset every evening over the ocean from the huge balcony. We were a short drive to many restaurants and you could see a beach shop from our balcony as well. I would stay here over and over and probably never come back to Kentucky if I didn’t have to. Thank you for helping make this the most wonderful vacation I’ve ever been on with my daughter and her husband, and my son and his fiancé. I will cherish it forever.

We thoroughly enjoy our vacations at Tropic Winds every year. Both Scott and Leigh Anne are great and so easy to work with. The condo is very well decorated as well as comfortable and contains everything you could possibly need while vacationing. The balcony is our favorite as we sit with our coffee and watch the marine life. It's rare if we do not see dolphins on our weekly trip from our balcony. We have just returned from another glorious stay at Tropic Winds, 1109. This is our 3rd visit to Scott and Leigh Anne's beautiful home away from home. As in the past, our first impression is how clean the condo is. I mean the place is spotless!!! It is well decorated and when walking in the door you feel you have arrived "home" and not just some hotel room. Believe me, there is a huge difference. One of our favorite features of the condo is the huge patio that affords a unlimited view of the ocean and the most gorgeous sunsets on the beach. Because the condo is on the end, there is an open view with no wall to obstruct. Gorgeous! Needless to say, we will be returning on an annual basis as long as the owners make the condo available. For us, there is just no other consideration for the PCB area. Thank you Scott & Leigh Anne!!

We had a wonderful vacation in condo 1109. Scott was amazing to deal with and answered all my questions. This condo is perfect. The balcony is large and has beautiful furniture. The showers are updated, and the mattresses are so comfortable. All the things you are looking for on vacation. The whole complex including elevators etc. are so clean. Oh, and the beach is God's beautiful creation and you will enjoy it from sunrise to sunset.

I am not sure where to start in regards to our stay at 1109. We booked for a week long stay during Spring Break for a tournament, and were more than impressed. Scott and Leigh-Ann have created a beautiful home away from home, and are incredible hosts. They were easy to work with, personable, and communicative. We had stayed in the building before but wanted something on a lower level due to having a little one. The end unit was wonderful as we did not hear luggage carts in the early morning hours or night. The large end unit patio was BEAUTIFUL and had the best Sunset view with the open-ended design. The parking was open due to construction but we never once were unable to find a spot. The building is quiet, family friendly, and every year we meet the kindest people on the beach. The included chair rental is so convenient, and easy to use. The location is perfect, being on the quiet side of the main strip, but still close to all of the main sites and popular restaurants. Unit 1109 was updated, beautifully maintained, very clean, and well stocked as far as any amenities one might need or expect. We love staying at Tropic Winds, but we kept in touch with Scott and Leigh-Ann for over a year hoping to book their unit, and it was exactly what we wanted, and more than we expected! I would recommend their units to anyone. They truly treat you like family. Anytime we are in PCB, we will be trying to stay with Scott and Leigh-A,, in Tropic Winds first!

PamA wonderful Fall getaway
A fantastic place to stay! My family has rented one of Scott and Leigh Anne’s units several times. We just left after staying for two weeks and I have already booked two weeks for next year. We have stayed in two different units and each one is decorated beautifully, spotless and kitchen fully stocked as far as utensils. Scott has been very responsive anytime I had a question or needed assistance. I know when staying in one of their units that I will never be disappointed. Also a wonderful perk are the chairs and umbrella at the beach which come complimentary with the unit, depending on the time of year. We had a fantastic time and are looking forward to our next trip to Tropic Winds.

We've always stayed in unit 1309 and decided to try unit 1109 this trip. What can I say, the unit was very clean, everything was stocked well, and they have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Hurricane Sally was in town but she didn't dampen our spirits. There were books to read and games to play. We had some rough weather and even texted Scott about where to go if a tornado came in and he responded immediately - customer service at its finest. This has been the 1st.enjoyable vacation that we have had in a while.Thanks to Scott and Leigh Ann knight for sharing their beautiful Home away from home.There is nothing like waking up hearing and seeing the ocean every morning and seeing the beautiful sunset in the evening.They have the perfect level floor on seeing the perfect view.This is just what we needed.We cant wait to come back next year to enjoy this again.The parking spot and the elevators were right their together at your convenience.The rooms were beautiful and so nicely decorated with special touches.We had lots of room inside and out.The balcony was really nice with lots of space and seating.I enjoyed the high top table every morning when we had our breakfast and got to see some dolphins and sting rays & one manatee! An absolutely adorable condo; clean as a whistle, and decorated in cheerful beach-chic furnishings. Cozy furniture, lush, comfy beds, and a terrific layout and flooded with natural light. Most condos we've rented in the past had the bare minimum as it relates to kitchen supplies; this place outfit with everything you will need, from corkscrew to cutting board, and everything in between. The best part, however, is the sprawling balcony that looks over the gorgeous gulf. The sunsets were magnificent, and the gentle breeze never ceased.
