New tile was completed November 2018 along with window treatments and selected furnishings. New mattress in master bedroom, dining furniture and artwork in 2019. The unit features a large double balcony, updated kitchen with granite countertops and stainless appliances, a huge master suite with direct access to balcony and beach view. Master suite includes a king bed, large flat screen HDTV, garden tub in bathroom, large walk in closet, dual vanities and separate walk in shower. Large second bedroom features a king bed, large flat screen HDTV, roomy closet and en suite full bath.
There is a reserved covered parking spot right next to the elevator. Complimentary beach service is included with rental from March 1 through end of October. Complex includes a beach front grilling area as well as a newly renovated fitness center. Free wifi is included with your rental. Sterling Sands is a lovely mid rise condo with a large uncrowded beach, conveniently located in mid Destin. Kayak and paddle board rentals are available at the beach hut on site. It is walking distance from the Back Porch beachside restaurant, the Trak Amusement Park, Merlin's Pizza, and many other attractions and restaurants. The Harbour Walk, with it's many restaurants, and other activities such as fishing charters, jet ski rentals, sailing expeditions, dinner cruises, and many other fun activities is a short drive away.

Renter agrees to abide by laws, ordinances, and Sterling Sands condo association rules, including but not limited to age and noise restrictions and reasonable requests from management. The association manager may exercise judgment in requesting occupants cease behavior that is disturbing other occupants. The person reserving the unit must be 25 years or older and must occupy the unit along with the rest of their party. The owner, in limited circumstances, may grant an exception to the requirement that the renter occupy the unit with the party at the time of booking. Exceeding the advertised sleeping capacity (6 persons) is not permitted. Smoking and pets are strictly prohibited. The renter understands that the association manager has the authority to evict occupants for failure to abide by the rules and regulations. The renter agrees to exercise due diligence in caring for the unit and may not remove items from the unit. Damages or missing items will be deducted from the damage deposit. If repair/replacement costs exceed deposit, renter shall be responsible for all expenses incurred to restore property.

About the owner: I'm a retired engineer and purchased my first condo back in 2012. When I got the chance to upgrade to the nicer 2 bedroom unit, I jumped at the chance! I have really enjoyed decorating the condo and I strive to make the condo the perfect vacation spot for my husband and me, and for our guests.
Why this property? I owned one of the small 2 bedroom units at Sterling Sands for 7 years and then got the opportunity to purchase this larger 2 bedroom with the master suite on the gulf side and the reserved parking spot in the garage. I love Sterling Sands because it only has 110 units, is 8 stories high, has a great association with on site maintenance, and great owners who really care about their property. It has a beautiful wide beach, a great umbrella and chair beach service provider, and is conveniently located right in the middle of everything!

This place was perfect for our family of 4 (two adults, two small children). Everything was SO clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The location was great, we only had to go 1/2 a mile to get anywhere we wanted! With small kids, I was especially concerned with safety and the front door has a special locked feature (lock is at the top of the door) so kids can't reach it, which I loved. The owner was super responsive. We'll definitely come back.

We have rented from Dinah for several years now, first time in her new unit. First time we have stayed 2 weeks. We loved everything about it. The view is fabulous from the balcony, beach service was a plus, and inside parking right in front of the elevator was great. Unit is nicely furnished, with everything you need. Plan to rent again next season from Dinah. She responds quickly and is great to rent from. Location in Destin is close to everything.
We just spent 7 days, in one of the most beautifully decorated condo’s! It was like our home, away from home! We had a breath taking view of the Gulf of Mexico, where we watched Dolphins play & beautiful birds! The bed was so comfortable & bathrooms so pretty; plenty of storage space!
