Welcome to beautiful “Matcha Datcha Venice Island Florida”, your warm weather oasis on the Gulf Coast, located just a few blocks from the blue waters of Venice Beach and a short ride to Main Street downtown.

It is a two bedroom (sleeps up to 6 with 2 queen beds and a rollaway) and two bathroom end unit on the ground floor only a few short step to a reserved parking spot. It features a screened-in lanai perfect for sharing the warm gulf breeze with family and friends.
This quaint island condo is less than one mile from public beach access, the Venice Fishing Pier and Sharkys beachside restaurant featuring great island food and live music nightly. Also, check out Fin's at Sharky's for a casual international culinary experience with breathtaking views of the gulf.
Relax on the beach, take a dip in the warm gulf waters, hunt for sharks teeth and shells, snorkel or shore dive (scuba) to the bone yard, then catch a beautiful gulf-coast sunset for a perfect ending to a perfect day.
Historic downtown Venice is 5 minutes from the condo for unique shopping and a diverse selection of award wining cuisine. Be sure to check out a production at the renowned Venice Theater.
If you enjoy golf, there are two beautiful championship golf courses nearby. The Warm Mineral Springs is only a 20 minute drive with therapeutic mineral levels surpassing Karlovy Vary.
This condo is located on the ground floor with a fully equipped kitchen. All linens are provided as well as beach chairs and shell/shark tooth sifters. Convenient coin operated laundry is on the same level as the condo.

100% due at booking for stays two months or less and for all stays made within 180 days of the arrival date.
For stays longer than two months, 50% is due at booking and the remaining 50% is due 180 days prior to arrival.
100% refund if canceled at least 120 days before arrival date. If you need to cancel less than 120 days from your arrival date, I make every effort to find a replacement booking. If successful, I will refund your money entirely.
Mutli-month (more than 60 nights) and full season (more than 90 nights) discounts are available for certain times of the year - please inquire.

About the owner: Hello, our names are Jeff and Irina. We live with our two young boys in New York. We are originally from Pennsylvania and Russia respectively. The gulf coast of Florida has been our second home for many years. We were married on the beach and return every summer. The kids love the day camps and we all love the sunsets on Venice beach.
We affectionately named our condo Matcha Datcha both for our love of green tea, wholesome biodiverse foods and our memories of family holidays by the seaside.
Because our family spends a few months a year in Venice, we have well established relationships with people that help with the property, to provide what you need and quickly deal with any unforeseen issues. We manage everything for you... our first priority is to make sure your stay is relaxing and trouble free.

Why this property? We love Venice Island! It is the perfect place to get away year round and simply relax on island time.
The unit is bright and quiet, ideally situated as an end unit with lots of windows. Since we purchased the unit, the interior has been reappointed with all new towels, linens and many other upgrades that we expect when vacationing. The screened Lanai is a great place for morning tea. Parking is only steps from the unit and laundry is near by on the same level.
The location is great being close to public beach entrances at Casperson Beach and Venice Beach - it is walkable or its only a short drive. There is ample parking, facilities are well kept and we love having dinner on the beach at sunset.
What makes this Condo unique
There is no shortage of things to do, shops and restaurants are close by, but a few of our favorites are the Warm Mineral Springs and Cafe Evergreen, great menu for all but the vegan selection is outstanding. For children, the programs at the Sarasota County Libraries are excellent and the Mote Marine Laboratory is a must see. There is also Detwiler’s Farm Market in Venice, a family owner market with Amish style deli, fresh produce, seafood, baked goods and old fashioned ice cream located only 5 minutes away.
However, there is no need to leave the island. A few of our favorites experiences include Venice Theater, a big theater in a small town of highest quality and diversity of shows offered (6 minutes drive). Centennial Park, centrally located on the island (4 minutes drive) also has a weekly farmers market, splash pad for the kids, art shows, and a live concert series. Boat, canoe, kayak rentals at the marina as a great way to get on the water or for seasonal guests, membership boating is a great option.
