Vedra’s Haven

Welcome to "Vedra's Haven"! You'll know you are at your home away from home when you enter the front door. You are immediately greeted by the blue Atlantic Ocean through our wall to wall glass windows and doors. Warm tile floors invite you into the open floor plan where you find the kitchen, dining area, and living room. With no interior walls to interfere, you can literally be in any one of these areas and be able to enjoy each others' company.

4 Bedroom (plus huge bunk room), 3 bath beach house. Direct ocean front!

The fully stocked kitchen features solid surface counter tops, stainless appliances, and a breakfast bar. The cabinets are loaded with dinnerware, glasses, blenders, and more. For lunch with a view, the dining table is located on the east side of the house, overlooking the ocean. It seats 6, but you can add a leaf and it will comfortably seat 8. There is also additional seating at the breakfast bar. The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa, and two large chairs surrounding a 48" flat screen TV and a vintage decorative fireplace (not functional). You will find that you have great views of the ocean from just about any spot in this area of the house! There is also a laundry room on this floor, just off of the kitchen.

The expansive ocean views continue in the master bedroom. This room can be filled with natural light as there are three large windows on the east wall, offering sights of the beach and water. Imagine waking up to the sound of waves on the beach each morning, and rolling over to see pelicans diving for breakfast, or dolphins frolicking in the surf! The master bedroom has a comfy king bed, large dresser, and two night stands with lamps for reading, and a 32" TV. The en suite master bathroom features a walk-in shower and a vanity with ocean views.

There are two more bedrooms on this floor. The 2nd bedroom has an inviting queen bed, and partial ocean views. The 3rd bedroom has a day bed with a trundle underneath, perfect for one or two of your smaller guests. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom that has a shower/tub combination. Downstairs you will find the 4th bedroom which has a queen bed, and a sitting area with a sofa, coffee table, dresser and 42" TV. You also have a nice ocean view from this bedroom. Outside the 4th bedroom is a large open space that is perfect for children or teens. This space has a 40" TV with an X Box for the gamers in the family. There is a small game table for playing cards or putting together puzzles. When the night time fun ends, the kids can lay their heads in either of the two twin-over-twin bunk beds. There is a full bathroom downstairs with a walk-in shower and double vanity sinks.

Off of the living room, on the 2nd floor, you can step out onto our expansive double-tiered deck. This deck offers the best of both worlds. The upper portion is completely covered offering plenty of shade as soon as the sun gets high enough. Step down a few steps to the large, exposed sun deck. Here you can work on that tan while watching the passers by on the beach. Both decks feature various forms of patio furniture for you to enjoy. The deck has a ramp that leads down to the landing, just behind our sea wall. From there, a few more steps and your toes are in the sand. You will enjoy the beach here, as it is very private and quiet. No driving is allowed on the beach, but if you are here during Sea Turtle Season, you might catch the Turtle Patrol on their early morning ATV ride as they inspect for new nests!


There are many activities in the areas in and around South Ponte Vedra. St. Augustine, the nation's oldest city, is home to many tourist attractions such as guided carriage rides, historic landmarks, the Fountain of Youth, and many more. There is plenty of shopping, dining, and nightlife in St. Augustine as well. There are several concerts in the outdoor amphitheater each month, as well as live music at some of the local waterfront restaurants such as the Conch House.

A short, scenic drive north from Vedra's Haven will take you to posh Ponte Vedra and Sawgrass. Here you will find many elegant dining choices, upscale boutiques, cigar stores, and fine jewelry shoppes. Sawgrass is home to the PGA's annual TPC golf tournament. Less than one hour away is downtown Jacksonville, where you can catch a NFL Jacksonville Jaguars game, dine or shop at the riverfront Jacksonville Landing, or take in the sights at the Jacksonville Zoo.

If you are into outdoor activities, there are plenty of options to choose from. There are many types of fishing in the area including: surf fishing right from your beach, intracoastal fishing trips, and offshore full day excursions. There are kayaking trips available in St. Augustine as well as horseback riding, cycling, and hiking trails.

Do you golf? If so, pack your clubs because there are dozens of beautiful golf courses in the area. The World Golf Village is host to two marvelous 18 hole courses, an 18 hole putting course, and the World Golf Hall of Fame. St. Augustine has several public and semi-private courses as well as dozens of courses in Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, and Jacksonville Beach. There are many dining choices in the area as well. Be sure to check out some local fare at two nearby waterfront restaurants: The Reef and Caps. Both are just a few minutes south of Vedra's Haven.

Weekly minimum rentals required for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. 4 night minimum for Florida/Georgia game weekend. $500 up-charge applies to all of these holidays, except Florida/Georgia game weekend. For Florida/Georgia game weekend, please add $75/night to the nightly rate.

Please note: Under Amenities, it is listed as having "Communal Pool". This refers to the pools at the Serenata Beach Club (). Guests have the option of joining the club during their stay. There is a separate fee associated with this (around $300). Please inquire for more details.
