Mariners Cove is a lovely, small condo building (62 Units- all are 500 square foot studios) across the street from New Smyrna Beach. My unit "Beachaven" #206 is on the second floor with a sofa that opens to a queen-sized memory foam mattress bed and a Murphy bed unit with two single beds topped with My Pillow mattress toppers. My unit includes all towels and linens, dishes, glasses, silverware, cooking and baking utensils, color TV with surround-sound bar with DVD, refrigerator, 4 burner stove with oven, Keurig coffee maker, dinette set, balcony with patio furniture and beach view, combined built-in A/C and heat unit , plus coffee and end tables. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with handholds and is separate from the dressing area which has built-in drawers and a full-sized closet with hangars and a hanging shoe rack. Also provided are beach chairs and beach towels, beach umbrella and mats, a Cool Cabana unit (6x6' beach canopy-see video on You Tube) and a beverage cooler. A hamper with detergent pods is provided (Mariners Cove has a Laundry Room with new appliances installed in October 2019 and is also only a mile from a Laundromat) . There is no maid service available. Various beach toys and boogie boards are available for your use on a shelf above the main closet. Rentals are possible from 10 days up to three months. There is an outdoor pool and bar-b-q facilities on the property. I pride myself on providing my tenants with enough "gratis" supplies to start off their vacation!

Area Information

Mariners' Cove is located on the East coast of Central Florida and is convenient to Orlando International Airport and all Disney and Universal attractions (it's about a 75 minute drive to downtown Orlando and/or the airport). Kennedy Space Center is 45 minutes away. Daytona Beach is 20 minutes north of NSB. Golf, fishing and other vacation amenities are in the surrounding areas. Mariners' Cove is convenient to shopping, churches, malls and restaurants and famous Flagler Ave. with quaint shops, restaurants and entertainment. I leave various booklets and maps in the unit for your use.

About the owner: We are a retired active duty Army couple (Infantry and Nurse Corps) living in the Orlando area within a 90-minute drive of our little vacation "home by the sea". We offer a 10% discount on active/retired military, police, fire and other first-responder tenants with proof of affiliation.

Why this property? Mariners'Cove provides a small condo experience among the various high rises along New Smyrna Beach. My rates are extremely favorable as I pay your local and state room taxes out of your rental fee. It is a well-maintained property with a Manager there 5 days a week. My unit has a coded lock and each tenant is provided with a new number. It was refurbished in October 2019 with new a sofa bed replacing the futon couch, and with a new paint scheme, floor coverings, dishes and linens.

A $500.00 deposit is required to ensure your reservation. Personal checks are accepted. Canadian residents need to obtain a bank draft in U.S. dollars (USD).

What if a hurricane comes while I am there in NSB?

A:

I provide very generous hurricane provisions which will let you out of your lease. They are spelled out in the contract.

Can I pay in installments or do I need to pay all money up front?

A:

You can pay in an installment plan of your choice. All costs must be paid no later than two weeks before occupancy. Your $500.00 deposit is applied to the cost.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes. I offer a 10% discount to any active/retired US military service members and to police/ firefighter/first responder personnel upon receipt of proof- copy of ID card, copy of DD 214, etc. Please "black out" your SSN before sending.

Great Condo - Newly Upgraded

A friend and I spent one night here recently and it was a beautiful condo that had all we needed. It is well-appointed and equipped with nice appliances and upgrades. Really enjoyed the central air conditioner which was very quiet and peaceful yet close to the beach and lots of fine eating establishments.
