Unique Benefits

I am one of 4 daughters who grew up in Tampa. We spent summers on Indian Rocks Beach. We stayed in a wonderful house one summer ,and years later, my Mom bought the house we stayed in, and we named it Sue after her, (Su Casa,), Sue's house!

The large screened in porch has been enclosed and this sun room faces the beach. The deck beyond fills the gulfside of the house which has 2 tables, 12+ chairs, 2 umbrellas and 4 chaises. 1 step off the deck and you are on the beach! You can see our wonderful sunsets from this site! A private courtyard on the entrance side contains the cottage, (annex) which contains 2 sm queen bedrooms and a shared bath with shower. The adjoining garage has 2 washers and 2 dryers, a spare refrigerator, beach toys, rafts, skim boards beach chairs, beach umbrellas and coolers. The house and cottage can sleep 12 with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths.

Why this property? We stayed in this house years ago as children and teens and have fond memories of summers here, making homemade ice cream and hunting in the intercostal for scallops!
As children we remember the old wooden bridge leading to the beach from the mainland and the sound crossing it would usually wake us up from the long trip from Tampa! I remember the smell of the pine needles from the Australian Pines that used to line the beaches. The wooden bridge and pines are gone now but the flavor of Old Florida remains in this area of older beach cottages, low rise condos and 2 lane streets.

Fabulous house on beach

We rented this house in January for a get-together. The space was just perfect with lots of privacy for three non-related adults. Many sitting areas, a very well stocked kitchen, a sunroom with a view of the ocean, a patio practically on the beach. We loved everything about our stay! Would definitely stay again.
