If you’re looking for a quiet coastal retreat, look no further. “Knot A Care” is in the private gated community of Shipwatch on the eastern end of Scenic Highway 98. Nestled within the gates of this community sits this lovely vacation home which is 100 steps to the Gulf and overlooks a beautiful lake. Most recent upgrades include a new kitchen, upgraded bathrooms, bedrooms and adding a entertainment/game room. The new layout makes this already beautiful home a 5-bedroom, 6.5 bath with sleeping arrangements for 15.

The outside of the home features all the fantastic views from the 40 ft. x 20 ft. deck that overlooks the community lake. Take a seat in the upscale poly-wood furniture suite, including a dining table for 8, chaise lounges and oversized chairs for morning coffee or an evening cocktail. Portions of the outdoor seating are covered, perfect for enjoying a family dinner. The 10 x 10 Gummite pool is the perfect place to splash around after a beach day or soak your toes before lunch.

Upon entering the front of the home, you’re greeted by a spacious foyer and garage access just inside the double doors. Follow the hallway around to the beautiful open and airy kitchen. Cook your favorite meals in the fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Appliances include a side-by-side refrigerator, an electric range top/oven, large dual sided sink, two coffee pots and 4-slice toaster. The upgrades to this beautiful kitchen will include a second dishwasher, quartz countertops, and light fixtures making it even more inviting and cozy. The eat-in breakfast bar seats 4 just next to the dining room table.

The rich décor and lighting will draw you from the kitchen to the open concept living and dining area for family gatherings and making memories. The dining room table seats 8 guests with a small reading nook off to the side for 2. The living area features two plush couches and an oversized chair for catching the big game or enjoying the cliffhanger movies. When it’s time for the sunset (or sunrise), take the beautiful double French doors out to the large deck and enjoy the sun’s rays. The first floor features a half bath for access from the living and kitchen area as well.

The first floor sleeping arrangements include a charming King Suite and private bath with a garden tub and walk-in shower. This room sleeps 2 guests and features direct deck access, what a great morning view.

Take the stairs to the second floor for the rest of the peaceful and private sleeping arrangements at “Knot A Care.” This floor features a King Suite, a Queen Suite and a bunk room. The King Suite comes with a daybed/trundle bed, private bath, balcony access and a ton of natural light. This King Suite sleeps 4 guests. The Queen Suite has a private bath with shower/tub combo and sleeps 2 guests. The bunk room has custom built bunk beds providing 1 queen bed and 3 twin beds. The upgraded second floor will include a full-sized den, game room and a King Suite with a Queen Sleeper Sofa and Private Bath.

"Knot A Care" is a perfectly cozy coastal retreat that's sure to fit your family vacation, and for your convenience features beach chair service from March-October annually and is centrally located to plenty of shopping and dining. It’s a hidden gem and we just know it will suit your family just right!

Central beach access is just steps from the front door and leads the way to over 400 ft. of private beaches.

If you are familiar with this area you know from past vacations that their popularity makes traveling to and from the beach a breeze and convenient for quick errands to the store, even for that last minute shopping spree! They also make shuttling services hassle-free for weddings or events. By reserving a cart rental through us you will not have to worry about any of that unwanted dirt or sand getting into your car while trying to enjoy your vacation! We even deliver for free! Seasonal Beach Chair Service - Our complimentary seasonal beach service is offered for our Spring through Fall 2023 months. This includes 2 chairs and 1 umbrella set up daily on the beach from 9 AM-5 PM. Service Available March 1st and ends on October 31st, 2023.

Bicycles - 6 Adult Bicycles are provided Year Round by RideIt! Take a ride down Scenic Highway 98 and Enjoy the Sunshine.

Pool Heat— From October 1st - May 1st, the private pool can be heated for an additional $75/day or $525/week. Pool heat must be purchased for the entire stay.

Margarita Machines - Beach Reunion is proud to partner with Firefighter Margaritas, and offer the rental (for an additional cost during your stay) of a commercial frozen drink machine (margarita machine) which produces beverages usually only found in restaurants and bars. These popular machines allow you to enjoy your favorite frozen drinks and/or virgin slushies pool side or while lounging on the beach. They are the perfect addition to family vacations, weddings, business retreats, golf outings, fishing trips, church groups or any other type of gathering.

There's a celebration going on just about all the time in Destin, making it a fun place to be year-round. Several festivals, including October's Destin Seafood Festival and the month-long Destin Fishing Rodeo, celebrate the Gulf's edible gifts from the sea. There's also the annual Emerald Coast Poker Run, which takes place at the end of Boat Week. Participating boats pay an entrance fee, then travel to designated spots to pick up cards. The boat with the best poker hand at the end of the run is the winner. Proceeds from the poker run go to local children's charities.
