Unique location as the island gets very narrow here so you have waterviews everywhere. They love St. Augustine with the minature golf, the Alligator Farm, the lighthouse, Ripley's Believe It or Not, The Wax Museum, the Pirate Museum, the St. Augustine Aquarium where you can swim with the fish, MarineLand where you can swim with Dolphins, the gopher turtles, the rabbits, the pelicans, South Beach Grill diectly on Crescent Beach where you can have a great meal and your kids can play in the sand, the ice cream stores, the bowling alley, the Pirate Ship, kayaking, shelling, playing the the tidal pools on the beach. Not having to go out to eat but being able to eat in the condo.
Windjammer 305 is located on beautiful unspoiled, uncrowded south Crescent Beach. It is a unique place as it is on a barrier island (Anastasia Island) and is situated on a narrow strip of land with the Atlantic Ocean on the east side and the Intracoastal Waterway on the west side. Crescent Beach is a few miles south of St. Augustine Beach in St. Augustine, Florida. The beach is soft, white sugar sand, very wide with dunes and beautiful sunrises and quite long 7-8 miles. Lots of wildlife, gopher turtles, marsh bunnies, snakes, dolphins, pelicans, shore birds and beach flowers and sea oats. There are sidewalks for walking and bike lanes along A1A from the pier at St. Augustine Beach to the pier at Flagler Beach (A1A at Crescent Beach to Flagler Beach is designated a scenic highway). The beach has lots of wide space and at low tide the sand becomes hard so great for walking, shelling, running, fishing, biking, etc. Condo close to shopping, restaurants and about 10 miles from historic downtown and about the same from the modern area with Outback, Walmart, etc.
Lots to do for adults and kids in St. Augustine as we have been getting visitors wishing to visit the oldest city in St. Augustine which just celebrating its 500 plus anniversary. Historic downtown is beautiful with two Spanish Forts, oldest school house, etc. Flagler College, horse drawn carriages and tram rides. Kids love the miniature golf courses, Ripley's Believe or Not, Wax Museum, Alligator Farm, Marineland, World Golf Hall of Fam, lots of golf courses, marinas for renting jet skis, boats, parasails, kayaks and ecotours, scooters, bikes, art galleries, shopping, winery with roof top wine bar, lots of tours (ghost tours, sailing tours, ecotour, Segway tours, walking tours) and a wide variety of restaurants from casual to upscale dining and lots of venues for nightly entertainment including bowling alley, movie theaters, live theater and St. Augustine Amphitheater with famous name music acts. Close enough to visit Jacksonville (with zoo, sports arenas, beaches, airport), Daytona Beach speedway and beaches , Orlando with theme parks and Kennedy Space Center.

Historic St. Augustine which is the oldest city in America has lots to do for kids and adults. Bike paths, beach shelling, surfing, windsurfing, all water sports. We have a private fishing pier on the Matanzas River where you can catch flounder, catfish, sea trout, redfish and you can fish in ocean for bluefish, etc. You can watch for turtles nesting on the beach in the summer season and for right whales in the Atlantic Ocean in the winter. You can always spot dolphins in the Intracoastal and in the Atlantic Ocean and gopher turtles, pelicans, shore birds, blue herons, rabbits and occasional snakes in the dunes and at the shore. Security deposit is returned within 7 days of departure after the unit is checked for loss or damage and all keys, gate clickers are returned.
Tenant must agree to terms of rental agreement and to abide by rules and regulation of the condominium association which will be provided by owner. No pets allowed due to condominium rental regulations, weekly minimum due to condo rental regulations and minimum age of 25 and prefer family units.
Crescent Beach is a lovely low key community for families, couples, singles who wish to enjoy the beach and nature and peace and quiet with the historic and cultural attractions as well as the restaurants of St. Augustine nearby.

About the owner: Husband and I retired Produce Brokers who were born and raised in the beautiful Sunshine State of Florida in the Miami/Boca Raton area graduating college at FIU and FAU and working for growers in the Homestead area. We eventually became potato and onion brokers so relocated our companies in this area and loved it so decided to live here and retire here. We own a home in Palm Coast about 20 miles from Crescent Beach so are able to enjoy our canal front home and our oceanfront condo. We visit our condo for our personal use and also visit between guests so we can keep it repaired and maintained. I am always available to my guests by text, phone or email if needed to ensure the guests have a stress free stay and a wonderful vacation at our beautiful property but provide my guests with the privacy they desire.
Why this property? Windjammer 305 is one of the rare condos that has private balconies on both the west side of this narrow part of Anastasia Island overlooking the intracoastal waterway (Matanzas River) and on the east side overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Crescent Beach. 305 is a corner unit on the 3rd floor (actually the 4th floor as the building is built on top of the garage which is on the ground floor )so has an unobstructed view over the dunes to the beach and ocean and to the intracoastal waterway which comes very close to the shore at this point. Since 305 is a corner unit in the South building , our front door is at the end of the common walkway so no foot traffic walking pass your condo on way to other units. Each building has an independent elevator, so the only foot traffic is the guests and owners of the units in the South building which has 7 units on each floor. The condo has sliding doors to the balconies from all bedrooms and living room and only has one large window which is in the living room overlooking the beach and ocean. You can stand in the centrally located kitchen and see both views without going into the bedrooms because we installed French doors which can be opened wide. Windjammer is a quiet complex with many long time fiscally responsible owners and the association employs an onsite office manager and a maintenance person to handle any issues outside of the unit such as the pool, trash, pest control, gate access, rules and regulations , parking, etc.
The association does not allow renters to have pets (only owners) and has a minimum rental of 7 days so Windjammer retains a residential feel and not the hotel feel of guests constantly checking in and out. If you would like to stay at a home away from home, well equipped, modern updated, clean with spectacular views and direct access to beautiful Crescent beach and close proximity to St. Augustine, this is the place for you and for us, as owners we stay here too and we love it and think you will too.
