Villa Del Sol-3 Beds, 2 baths, -Freshwater Canal, Heated Pool

We really enjoyed our stay at this house! The house was clean and had everything we needed. Beach chairs, cooler,towels, bikes.. We enjoyed the pool and the outside seating area a lot. It is a very quiet neighborhood and very private. Shopping & Restaurants only minutes away. Most days we went to the Yacht Club beach Cape coral (15 min drive). It is a small beach but close and Parking is free. Sanibel Island is around 40 min drive (depends on traffic)and parking can be a challenge,also it comes with a cost of 5 $ per hour. But it is worth of all the shells you can collect here. We went to the lighthouse and bowman beach and rented bikes to explore the island. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation this home is perfect and the contact with the owner was very nice. Thank you again for letting us stay at your house. We didn't want to leave! We loved our stay at Casa De Sol. The house is very spacious, located in a quiet subdivision and has everything you could possibly need. All you need to pack is your toothbrush and clothes. They have everything from beach chairs, Beach umbrellas, cooler and bikes to ride around the area. The kids loved swimming in the pool and fishing in the canal. We saw multiple turtles, ducks and a mama sea otter with her cubs. The location is near everything from grocery stores, clothing stores and pretty much every kind of restaurant you can think of. There’s a great putt putt golf coarse 5 minutes away and about 15 minutes away from a nice sandy beach with a wonderful pier to fish or see beautiful sunsets from. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Casa De Sol to our friends and family. Mike and Cori are excellent hosts who thought of everything you could possibly need for a fantastic vacation. They are quick to respond if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for a wonderful vacation! We were sad to leave.

If you want to relax this is the home for you. We spent hours on the dock drinking coffee, eating meals while enjoying the birds, fish and turtles. Peaceful is the word that describes this home. The owner has decorated the inside in tasteful beach decor. Each room was very inviting. The master bedroom had a very comfortable bed with a cool ceiling fan above it. Nice tiled shower with a shaving foot rest in it. The closet space was as big as a small room. Great tvs in each room. The kitchen had everything a cook would need. You could serve food to the pool area from a sliding window in the kitchen. Nice comfy table and chairs in the pool area. Big clean gas grill by the pool. Rain or shine you could eat there. New beach chairs and umbrella in the garage. This home was very easy to find. We ate out every day with great restaurants only 10 to 15 minutes away. There were only two of us but this home would be great for a large family. We are spoiled and never stay in hotels. You will be happy with your choice if you stay here. We came home refreshed and happy.

Thanks Mike for letting us stay in your home recently. It was a pleasure to be back again and we had such nice weather. My husband did plenty of bass fishing and took our small boat out almost every day. I just enjoy reading my book on the dock in peace and quiet. I am glad you had no large damage from the hurricanes last year, the place looked great ! Hopefully we will get down this way again next year. Lori & Dean

Property was very nice. Well groomed, great outdoor sitting are by canal allowed for bass and tilapia fishing, all kinds of wildlife to view ( ducks, river otters, Iguana, herons) House was exceptional with 3 bedrooms , large living room / dining room, separate eating area for breakfast, another large sitting area, very well stocked kitchen and entire house well furnished. Pool service weekly. Pool was just the right size and fully screened and a large covered outdoor dining sitting area. Mike was very accommodating with sincere follow up before and during visit to make sure everything was just right. Lots to see very close to house location and many great places to visit just a short distance away. Sanibel Island, Pine island just a short drive away, many resteraunts right on the canals, rum distillery almost walking distance from house and lots of nice golf course just a short distance from house. House in a very tranquil area of the canal system that looks out to canal and natural foliage. Highly reccommend

This was a great house, has everything you need. The fresh water canal was full of fish and turtles, many birds and so quiet. My kids had fun in the pool and enjoyed biking around the neighbourhood. Thanks Mike for all your help everything was great!!

Hi Mike & Corri, thanks for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home in Cape Coral. We really enjoyed how quiet it was out back by the canal and the wildlife is amazing. Like the previous review we saw otters, turtles, many species of birds and fish. We did catch some bass and a few gar but released them to get bigger the next time we come back. Your home was spacious, very clean and even smelled nice when we walked in the door. Our grandkids were here for a few days and played in the pool for hours and really like eating out in the lanai over looking the pool and canal. We would recommend your home to people of all ages. This home is very close to all shopping and restaurants, banking, beaches etc. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, 86 and sunny every day. Looking forward to our next stay !! Elva & Bill

We have very much enjoyed our stay here in Cape Coral at this lovely house. Sitting by the canal out back can provide hours of wildlife watching. It is a secluded spot with woods across the canal where there are an array of herons, egrets, ducks, osprey, turtles and river otters. Bring your binoculars. The location is also conveniently located to restaurants, shops and access to other nearby sites, like the Edison-Ford Museum in Fort Myers, Matlacha, and Sanibel Island. It is also a nice walking neighborhood. There are a lot of things to enjoy. The house is very nice and big enough for six people to live comfortably, although most of the time we were just two people. Every amenity is provided from wi-fi, laundry, linens and towels, multiple tvs, and even a printer. We are looking forward to our next visit here!

Corri, thanks for the great time in your home. Our family had a relaxing week and would love to come back again. the kids were in the pool most of the day and my son did plenty of fishing out back and caught some big ones. We released them as we don't eat much fish. The kids also loved the bikes and we went out as a family many days. We rode down to the ball park to watch some games and the kids liked the BMX races at the park. We took several trips to Sanibel, what a gorgeous little island and we rented bikes there and went to the Island Cow for lunch as recommended I am dreading our trip back to the snow, the weather was amazing. It rained for 3 hrs on the Sunday but every other day was sunny and warm. Your home was very inviting and everything looked great. My daughter enjoyed the luxury of a TV in her bedroom which she will never get at home :) Your home & neighbourhood look great and I think they are building a couple of new homes at the end of your street. I would suggest some more pictures on-line or possibly a video of the home & neighbourhood I am already missing my morning coffee on the dock looking at all the wildlife.
