We stayed at this property last week and it absolutely checked most of the boxes for a vacation rental for a family. It was immaculately cleaned. Very spacious and the Lanai pool area was great!. Laundry room within the rental as well. There were a few minor things broken, but I called property management and reported this right away. Property management answered calls promptly during our stay. The clubhouse pool was nice but did not have enough tubes for the lazy river and the adjacent Cafe/restaurant was underwhelming. The clubhouse was locked and looked like it was undergoing renovation inside. There are multiple restaurants and supermarkets within 10 minutes of the resort. Publix was a nice clean market but was on the expensive side. We found Aldi across the street a few days later which is so much cheaper and had most of what you need. All in all my kids LOVED it and my youngest did not want to leave. We definitely would return if visiting Orlando in the future.

For 7 weeks, this property was our “home away from home!” We have rented in the Davenport area for thee years now, and this Solterra property is by far, THE best! As the saying goes, “third time is a charm!” Our hosts, Martin and Emma were very easy to correspond with and most responsive to all questions, as was Roger, their property manager, who is easily accessible, most friendly, yet professional whenever we needed to call him. In addition, the pool maintenance person, Steve, was the best, we’ve had, at keeping the water crystal clear from week to week! Never once did we get the scent of chlorine emanating from the pool water (an indicator of the presence of high bacteria and/or algae). The house itself was found as depicted on the rental site, from the furnishings inside, to the pool/lanai area overlooking the conservation/pond acreage. The kitchen is well stocked with ample dishes, flatware and glassware. My only suggestion would be the addition of some acrylic wine glasses for use on the lanai. There is an outdoor dining area with seating for 6, a grill and 3 chaise lounges poolside. An additional 3 loungers would be perfect for 3 adult couples. We spent most of our days relaxing on premise. Weather permitting, we took all meals on the lanai and spent most of our days reading, relaxing in the pool and spa, or conversing with friends and/or family poolside. Our evenings were quiet, and it was a pleasure to finally have a rental with comfortable sofas for watching movies or tv programs in general. For people who are not “gamers”, a few board games and puzzles, both for children and adults would be a nice addition, though there ARE ping pong and pool tables, and a Pac-Man video machine, along with another game machine and game table. Quite impressive! If are lucky to find this property available, and choose to rent it, please treat it as your own home. Rest assured, you will enjoy it so much, you WILL want to return to find it in future visits, just as it is now, a pristine and comfortable home. It is truly a gem! Enjoy! Karen and Ross
