GUEST NOTE: Although the home is fully recovered from hurricane Ian we advise our guests that the boat dock listed & shown in some photographs is not available for guest use at this time.

Reached by a short staircase or private elevator, the first floor leads directly to the main family room, 4 stylish bedrooms (K/Q/T/T), 2 bathrooms and utility room and family kitchen. Stairs or private elevator continue on up to the second floor full Private Master Suite.

The main family room offers a spacious living area with wide-screen TV and DVD. Sliding doors open from the living area to the wrap-around balcony offering unsurpassed views of the bay.

The open-plan kitchen has absolutely everything that could be required for a relaxing family vacation, microwave, glass-top stove & oven, automatic dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer – next to the guest bathroom is the utility room which includes front-loading family washer and dryer.

Waters around Matlacha sound can be very shallow in parts and may not be suitable for all types of boats – you are cautioned to research the Internet for further advise.

The boat dock at the property is available for guest use but the boat lift is private and does not rent with the home. Boats cannot be stored on the driveway or launched from the premises – public boat ramp access is located half mile away.

Check-in/Wi-Fi Internet is available free of charge.

No parties, events, ceremonies or gatherings involving additional persons are permitted on the premises. All overnight guests must be included in the guest count (this includes children). Please respect our neighbors - no loud music in the outside pool area.

Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the house.

Any unlawful activity or excessive disturbances are grounds for eviction.

We kindly ask guests to observe quiet hours after 10.00pm when in the outside deck/pool area.

Kokopelli House - Matlach/Cape Coral
We had 9 of us from Michigan staying. Spacious living and bedroom areas, large decently equipped kitchen, screened decks on main level and upper master bedroom. We enjoyed the pool and spa daily with the great 80 degree weather we had. Had an issue with a toilet not flushing properly on the first day. Response from Secret Places was quick and it was fixed the next day. Being right on the water we saw dolphins on multiple days. Would consider renting again if we have a large group.

We had a wonderful vacation and the home at Matlacha was everything plus more! We are so thankful our vacation finally arrived and your assistance since our initial booking in 2019 was more than we would expect.
Everything was great and the pool/spa fishing dock were the highlight every day.

What a great property in a great area! We couldn't have asked for anything more- everything was as advertised plus more than we expected. The views from the screen porch, the pool and hot tub, bedrooms and kitchen, etc. were all superb. Saw dolphins, stingray, flying mullet, eagles, osprey, cranes, loons and more. Plenty of kitchen supplies, spices, toaster, plates, pots, pans, silverware, We did not have to contact the property manager once so that pretty much sums it up. 10 of us (8 adults and 2 toddlers) had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the property. Great area to go on walks or runs. We would definitely go back again to Matlacha and this property. Thanks for sharing!

This is my 4th year booking a house for our annual family get together. The property was everything they described and more. The location was spectacular. The Secret Places management company was easy to work with and answered all of of my questions both before I booked and after. The house was wonderful. It was clean and the views are amazing. We had only one problem and it was with the hot tub and they responded very quickly and got it working. I would strongly recommend this property for those looking for some quality, quiet and quirky time. The little town of Matlacha was great. The restaurants are kind of a throwback to old Florida and the food and service at the shops and restaurants was fantastic. Greg V - Redington Shores, FL

Our family of 6 loved this house and all that it had to offer. The house is beautiful and well equipped with a layout that provided everyone plenty of space. We enjoyed seeing dolphins, manatees, stingrays and jumping mullet fish from the dock and spent many a happy hour playing in the large pool. The house is in the heart of Matlacha, a charming little village with plenty of character. I’m typing this sitting in the airport waiting to depart for home, but we are already planning our next trip to this fabulous house. As my 11-year old said, “it’s not goodbye, it’s see you later”. I would highly recommend this home!

Outstanding first visit to Florida! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
My sister and I took our Mom, Aunties and friends, a group of 10 mid-western ladies with an average age of 75, to Florida for a week to warm their cold bones with sunshine, fun, dominoes and lots of love. The set-up of the property was PERFECT! The elevator made for easy luggage distribution and movement from entry to master bedroom to pool. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, towels and linens all in place. Our mornings were spent on the porch over looking the sea water to see dolphins and birds while drinking coffee. Evenings we gathered to watch the sunset with a cocktail and then the dominoes came out for fun and laughter and competition.
We are considering a 2020 repeat!

Awesome view and magical holiday. 5 of 5
This was a amazing home. Well equipped and very spacious for our family. The kitchen was so easy to work in for Christmas meals. The Island puts out luminaries throughout the Island and made it magical. The elevator was perfect for my father who uses a walker. We loved it too for bring up supplies and luggage.
