About the Property
Turtle Run is located right on the ocean, along a quiet stretch of S. Highway A1A in Melbourne Beach, Florida. We are 8 miles south of the intersection of rt. 192 and rt. A1A. A few minutes away is Driftwood Plaza, where you will find a Publix supermarket and other stores, including a restaurant, gas station and fitness center. Melbourne Beach Public Library, other restaurants and Spessard Holland golf course are also only minutes away.
You can unwind on our ocean view deck overlooking a quiet, uncrowded beach. A perfect spot to sip your morning coffee while enjoying the ocean breeze. Walk in the surf and, from April – September, observe the nesting sea turtles.
Your two bedroom, air conditioned, non-smoking oceanfront apartment has a living room with adjacent dining area, a separate, fully equipped kitchen and two private bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two twin beds. There is a sofabed in the living room. The living room and both bedrooms have ceiling fans. . Cable TV, local phone and WiFi are provided.
The kitchen contains a full size stove and refrigerator, a microwave, toaster and coffee maker plus all dishes, silverware, cooking utensils and cookware. Bed linens, pillows, towels and washcloths are also provided.
Outside is a patio with picnic table and charcoal grill. There is a grassy backyard and a deck overlooking the beach with steps leading down to the sand.
There is also a laundry area with washer and dryer. Laundry detergent & dryer sheets are provided
Barrier Island Sanctuary is a short drive south with many educational exhibits, films and special activities. Snorkling, pier fishing, surfing and other activities are available at nearby Sebastian Inlet state park.
The McClarty Treasure Museum, home of exhibits from the wreck of a 1715 Spanish treasure fleet, is another 1.5 miles south.
In the city of Melbourne are theatre, symphony orchestra, art museum, zoo, botanical gardens and minor league baseball. Canaveral, Disney and Orlando attractions are an easy drive away.
Some fun things to do are:
*Look for Sea Turtles. Take a Turtle Walk with the local Sea Turtle Preservation Society.
*Relax on the beach with a good book. You may be the only one there.
*Collect sea shells
*Sit on the deck with a drink and enjoy the peace & quiet and the beautiful view.

Weekly rates are from $849. Monthly rates are from $3150 through December 18, 2020.
These rates are for up to 4 adults (age 16 & up). Additional adults $50/night.
No extra charge for children of guests (age 15 & under).
Maximum apartment capacity is 6 persons.
It is occasionally possible to rent for less than a week. Talk to the manager.

$300 deposit is required to confirm reservations of up to 2 weeks
$400 deposit is required to confirm reservations of over 2 weeks
Until reservation is confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice.
45 day notice of cancellation is required in order to receive refund of deposit

Light, open and bright intrance, with the beach on step away from the backyard.
We stay with 5 persons for a week in this light, open en bright house and it feels like a month stay. The house is decorate in light colors, in a thyme present as a proper beach house. In the location are outside and inside several private area's where you can read a book.Walk at the backdoor, true the grass and your at the staircase to get on the beach, lovely sand beach with every day a different sunrise to look at. Take our surfboard in to the ocean and ride the waves, or swim when the sea was calmer. Very quit beach where you can walk to Melbourne Beach to get a breakfast, or go to the south. We experience that the shells on the beach every day different where. From the terrace you can spot the birds, dolphins, whales, turtles and many more animals. We saw also a rocket lance, Cape Canaveral in the evening, from the terrace, amazing experience, maybe also on your bucket list?We contact Lisa Blanchard from Holland to rent the property and from the first contact whit Lisa it was very pleasant communication. The reaction time, e-mail, text or phone was quick and in 24 hours al paperwork was done. During our stay we could contact Lisa anytime when something was wrong.We had a great stay and rent the property for sure another time we visit Florida.Thank you Lisa for the service during our stay in Turtle Run C
