Come and enjoy this lakefront property 15 minutes from Gulf. I purchased and furnished this home with intention of using this as a second home. Unfortunately, for me, life happened and I am unable to fulfill this dream at this time. I am offering this home as a seasonal rental.
Most of my tenants return each year. I have been blessed with tenants who enjoy the home but treat it as their own.
The home offers a peaceful escape. When you walk in the house, you will feel at home.
Unique Benefits
I love the privacy of my home on the lake. No homes are located on either side. You can get up close and personal with nature due to the water and my oversized and undeveloped lots. Water birds, and watch the gator do his morning and afternoon laps in the lake.
Area Information
The home is located on a very large lot. It is 15 minutes from Manasota Beach, as well as, Boca Grande Beach. Siesta Key beach (Sarasota) is also a 45 minute drive. Newly built North Port shops are only 12 miles. Grocery stores and very good restaurants are also close by. Boating, kayaking, biking, tennis facilities are available. Of course, golf courses are also in abundance, if that is your interest. Punta Gorda airport is about 30 minutes and Tampa, St. Pete is a little over an hour. 3 and 1/2 hours from Disney. The historic town of Englewood offers a wonderful market in the winter months but has quaint shops, boutiques and local pubs all year.

About the owner: My first exposure to the Englewood area was about 15 years ago. I had friends who purchased homes here. After visiting, I knew I wanted to purchase a 2nd home, and eventually, become my place for retirement. I am not able to do so at this point of my life. I am close, however. Until then, I am sharing my home with you. I am addicted to shark teeth hunting and enjoy the beautiful beaches.
Why this property? The close proximity to the beaches was a necessity for me. This specific home is on a small lake. I have privacy but I am not secluded. I enjoy my coffee, actually, all my meals on the lanai. When I built the pool and lanai, I knew this was the area I would be spending most of my time. I also made sure that the pool was a nice size, as well as, the lanai.

We had booked out stay for 2 weeks for our destination wedding and honeymoon. From the time we arrived the house felt like home. Master bedroom pillows were even Mr & Mrs. The pool was inviting and sitting on the dock having coffee were my favorite places to be. Then Hurricane Ian was on its way and we had to evacuate due to flooding. We were incontact with Bob about the storm and put up the hurricane shades on the sliders for him. Unfortunately, we were never able to return after evacuating, but were refunding the remaining days that were lost. We would definately had returned if able to and I hope it did not sustain any damage. We enjoyed the time that we did have there and highly recomend!
