About the Property
Sweet Carillon, located in the Cottage District of Carillon Beach village, sleeps 12-15. This 2700 sq ft home, built in 2008, offers three levels of spacious accommodations. The home is approximately 260 yards from the beach access and is within 150 yards from a park, playground, heated pool, two tennis courts and basketball court.
Two additional pools, one gulf front, are nearby. The first floor offers a bedroom with a king bed, a full bath, a kitchen and a living/dining room. The well equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless appliances opens to the living/dining area, a great feature for cooks who want to remain part of the beach festivities. Heart of pine floors on all levels and imported Italian Travertine stone in all baths lend elegance and cleanup convenience. The second floor offers a large master bedroom with a king poster bed, double closets, and a full bath with a jetted tub and separate shower. A second bedroom sleeps 5, with a double bed with a single overhead bed and a single bunk. The room has a private full bath. The third floor has a bedroom with a king bed, a full bath and an entertaining room. The entertainment/media room has a big screen TV, a granite wet bar. French doors from the media room leads to a partially covered 19’ x 19’ porch that overlooks the charming Carillon Beach village.
Sweet Carillon is equipped with 5 TVs and wireless internet. Five spacious porches off the living room, media room and 3 of the 4 bedrooms overlook a state park on the west and the village of Carillon Beach on the east. Some porches offer gulf and lake views and are perfect for watching sunsets, enjoying the Carillon bells, or the night sounds from the wooded park.
Carillon Beach village, with its parks, plazas, promenades, dune walkovers, and pavilions, is an example of the “New Urbanism” revival land-planning movement along Florida’s panhandle coast. The community blends innovative coastal architecture and urban-planning traditions of the past century with current advanced technologies. The market area, with shops, restaurants, Gym and internet coffee café, is the social hub of Carillon Beach.
We provide a GOLF CART for our guests to drive around the village. The centerpiece of the 104-acre walking and biking community is the Carillon Bell Tower, a 35-bell carillon. The private, gated Carillon Beach is as much a park as it is a community. Sidewalks and a footpath system connect green spaces, Bellview Park with an oversize swimming pool, pool house and pavilions, and a town hall and auditorium.
The complex is located on the west end of Panama City Beach, east of Rosemary Beach and Seaside. We are close to exciting beach activities, restaurants, and shopping, yet located in a residential area near million-dollar-plus homes.
Take a westward stroll to visit Lake Powell. The lake is a very rare natural phenomena that only occur in a handful of locations around the globe, including New Zealand, Australia, Madagascar and South Walton, Florida. In fact, South Walton, the adjacent county, has 15 named coastal dune lakes along its 26 miles of coastline.

About the owner: Jim and I have been managing properties in the Panama Beach 30A area for 20 years. We recently retired and devote our time managing three beach properties. We fell in love with the panhandle upon our first visit. We purchased our first property in Seacrest so we could bring our lab with our family on vacation. Our children have cherished memories of the area and still join us when we have the oppotunity to enjoy the beach.
Jim grew up in Moberly, MO, 30 miles north of Columbia University. After graduating from collegel he served in the army during the Vietnam era. I hail from the Northeast and met Jim while we worked in the San Francisco Bay area. After a brief time living in Cleveland, Ohio , we settled in Atlanta, GA where we graduated with our masters from Georgia State University and raised our three children.
Why this property? Our spacious home is located in Carillon Beach, a destination vacationfor many families including ours The primary attraction of the Panhandle of Florida is the beautiful white sandy beach. The Carillon Beach community is approximately 104 acres with over 3900 front feet of these beautiful beaches. Located in the heart of the property is Lake Carillon, a 13 acre lake, abundant with turtles, bass, migratory birds, blue herons, and an occasional eagle. The property borders Lake Powell, the largest coastal dune lake in the state of Florida, at about 767 acres, and coveting the designation of a ‘Pristine Florida Waterway. There is somthing for everyone at Carillon Beach.

Kathy, Thank you so much for your review. Best to you and your family.
My family and I with my mother and mother-in-law and friends stayed for a week at the end of June. The place was very clean and very spacious. Was a really nice place. Easy walk to the beach or take the supplied golf cart. Everyone really enjoyed everything about our stay here. Would definitely booked this place again. Thanks Linda.
