The Guest Cottage is an easy drive to the Ringling Museum, Powel-Crosley Estate, New College, State College of Florida, IMG Academy, Sarasota/Bradenton airport, a number of restaurants, and stores. It is a short trip to the Marie Selby Gardens, Baltimore Orioles and Pittsburgh Pirates Spring Training facilities and fields, Mote Aquarium, beaches (Lido, Siesta Key, Coquina, Bradenton, Anna Marie Island), Myakka River State Park, plus water sports and fishing venues. The drive to downtown Sarasota is less than 5 miles (10 - 15 minutes).
