This is a renovated 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath house in the downtown Laurel Park neighborhood, a National Historic District. A short walk to all that downtown Sarasota offers: outdoor dining, cafes and bars, grocery stores including Whole Foods and Publix, shops, galleries, movies, Saturday farmers' market, bayfront park and marina, the opera house, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. And ten to 15 minutes' drive takes you to Lido or Siesta beaches, the Ringling Museum.
Hardwood floors and high ceilings give a fresh and airy feel with a touch of old Florida. A large screened-in front porch facing the quiet street adds to the relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen and baths are recently updated. Full size washer and dryer. Outside is the very private fenced backyard with tropical plantings and a Weber gas grill.

J. B.Perfect home base for a Sarasota visit
Comfortable, well equipped, well maintained house in a perfect location. Great off street parking, cute private backyard and both front and back screened in porches. Located in Laurel Park, a historic “old Florida” neighborhood, it is walking distance to all that downtown has to offer including Selby Gardens, Bayfront Park , and it’s a 15 min. drive to beach. Owner is very responsive. We are booked for next year already! .

My husband and I rented this home for the month of March 2022 and loved it. The home is updated and spacious. This rental has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The screened in front porch is a wonderful place for cocktails or coffee. The yard space is cool and breezy. The owner was very responsive to any pre-visit questions as well as questions while we were there. The check in instructions were very clear. The location is great to walk or bike to many good restaurants and attractions. We will definitely be back!

I travel a lot. My stay at Ohio Pl in Sarasota was just a dream. Home away from home. Marianne Collins has the perfect “nest” - walking distance to everywhere! House was a jewel! Neighborhood fantastic! I already booked my next stay from Switzerland
