About this rental
We live in Destin, and manage our recently renovated top floor GULF VIEW Beach Resort Condominium home ourselves. There are no added fees-PERIOD! No management fees, no booking fees, no resort fees, no service fees. We include daily beach service of one umbrella and 2 chairs March through October. Private garage parking space #505 and WIFI are included. Be our guest!
BEACH RESORT CONDOMINIUM is a modern low-rise (5 story) 64 unit building located on 2 acres on Sandy Cay Drive in the Destin-area beach community of Miramar Beach, Florida. Our nonsmoking/no pets Unit 505 is a Gulf View Vacation Condo, 1 large Bedroom with king bed and a Bunk Room with twin bunks, 2 Baths. Occupancy is 4 guests. No more than 4 guests, please. Directly managed by local Owners. Rental schedule is Saturday to Saturday Weekly Only During Busy Seasons. Rental Includes private garage parking, WIFI and local owners' help with your questions about our property and community resources.
Beach Resort Condominium, built in 2006, has many wonderful amenities which families enjoy, including a seasonally heated and tropically landscaped 5,000 sq. ft. bi-level pool. The larger pool is zero-entry with a mushroom fountain that small children love. There are 9,000 sq. ft. of pool patio area, rest rooms, patio chairs and recliners, 5 outdoor grills, 2 shaded dining areas, and a heated spa. A private beach area of 300 feet on the Gulf of Mexico is located 400 feet to the east of the building. We provide our guests with seasonal beach service which is one umbrella and 2 chairs set up daily with the rental of our condominium home.
In order to provide more comfortable guest seating in our family room, we replaced the sofa sleeper with a comfortable quality family room couch in 2020. Our guest accommodation is perfect for up to four guests, with a beautiful king-sized bed and adjoining bath, and a separate bunkroom suite with twin bunks and private bathroom with shower .

When our youngest was accepted to Florida State, we decided to live where we had always vacationed, quit our jobs in Jacksonville, and moved to begin a new life here. We have so many! We like to be tourists in our own hometown! Just ask us about our current favorites! However, our top choice is to get a sandwich from Publix and take it to one of our award winning state parks. We love Henderson, Tops'l, Grayton Beach and Eden Florida State Parks. They all have picnic tables and bathrooms.
Our favorite restaurants include lunch at Harbor Docks, Dewey Destin's with a view of Crab Island for a snapper or grouper sandwich, Pompano Joe's which is a short stroll from Beach Resort and is gulf front with outdoor seating. Our favorite burger PERIOD! is McGuire's Irish Pub, favorite Mexican is La Paz. Best kitchen for great everything seafood is Vintage at Grand Boulevard.

Our Professional clean team has been Covid 19 Clean Certified.
• Towels and linens are laundered offsite.
• Welcome books and any other "high touch" items like magazines will be put away.
• Cleaning staff wears gloves.
• Only FDA approved cleaning products and CDC or medical grade disinfectants are used.
• We removed all decorative pillows and bed comforters.
• Blankets are changed between guests and replaced with one that have been sanitized.
• Our welcome will be warm and inviting. Your safety and health are our top concern. We want you to have a fun and relaxing vacation—as always!

As I check the boxes of amenities near by, I realize how much our community has to offer. I think you can find almost all of these things in our area. We have the largest designer outlet mall and fantastic gourmet dining, but we also have a zoo in Gulf Breeze and a wolf preserve in Chipley as well as E. O. Wilson Biophilia Center in Freeport. Some of the most scenic national, state and local parks are nearby. We have a water park, miniature golf, movie theaters, bowling and any kind of water sport you can think of. We have award winning state parks with outstanding hiking and beaches and even hiking TO beaches. Chautauqua Winery is in nearby Defuniak Springs. You can take a scuba lesson or learn to surf, and we have even had whale sightings in our part of the Gulf! We are a world class fishing and golfing destination. You can have bicycles delivered right to the front door. Our pool is heated seasonally which is a wonderful amenity, and the spa is always heated.

About the owner: We love Beach Resort! We are the original owners and live locally, so we are able to manage our own property. We take great pride in our top floor gulf-view vacation home. We vacationed for many years in Destin before we bought a home in 1987. Finally, in 2006 we quit our jobs in Jacksonville, Florida and moved to where our hearts lived--at the beach! Our daughters and their families soon joined us, so we have been very fortunate to watch their children grow in a small town with all the quality education and amenities of other areas.
Yes, we have been blessed!
Why this property? We love everything about Beach Resort! The private gulf front beach just a short stroll is perfect for us and our guests. We enjoy being able to provide free beach service from a vendor seasonally which is so convenient for visiting families especially with children. We like the small size with only 64 units while still having the largest and best pool in the area. Lots of families enjoy the bi-level pool and the heated spa as much as they do our soft, white sandy beach. We like them all!
We enjoy our state parks and the opportunity they provide for hiking and quiet reflection. We both love to fish, and Destin has the largest fishing fleet in Florida.
We love the festivals year round-art, music, and wine festivals are favorites of many of our guests who plan vacations around a special event.
Coming to Destin is getting easier and easier as new affordable add new routes airlines. We are always happy to answer your questions.

We have stayed in Bob and Diane’s condo for the last 10 years, sometimes coming twice in the year. Bob and Diane are one of the reasons we keep coming back. They make renting so easy and are always available to answer any questions you may have. Secondly, the condo itself. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you will need for your vacation. The pool is one of the best around. The zero entry is perfect for families with small children and the bigger pool is heated during the cooler months. It is a short walk to the beach where you will find two chairs and an umbrella waiting for you. It is also within walking distance of several great restaurants. You will not regret renting this condo. We will definitely keep coming back.

Our family loved our stay in Destin! This property exceeded our expectations in so many ways! Upon arrival everything was just as listed and even more beautiful than the pictures could capture! The condo was very spacious and clean and included EVERYTHING you could need for your stay! We loved the pantry and being able to place all of our groceries away to keep our space tidy! The view was gorgeous and pool was exceptional! The resort was very secure and safe and so well kept with landscaping. Everything was beautiful! We enjoyed an evening BBQ one evening while the kids were in the pool! We went during a very busy time and always had chairs available at the pool and nice setup at the beach each day. People were very friendly and this was definitely a family friendly area which was wonderful! Beautiful beach and aqua water each day of our vacation! Bob and Diane were so excellent to answer all my questions prior to arrival! Enjoyed getting to meet Bob and what a thoughtful gesture with the treat for our family! We absolutely will be staying here again and hope to make this our yearly vacation spot!

We have stayed in this same unit for the last few years. I believe it is the best location on Mirimar/ Destin beach. It is convenient to casual restaurants. The pool is absolutely the nicest, and it has a hot tub , a kiddie area, grills, shade and lots of lounge chairs. This unit includes garage parking in the best spot- the last one on the end. Private and safe. The condo is clean and fresh with cool AC. The beds are comfortable. Everything you could need is provided by Bob and Diane. They are just a phone call away to assist if anything comes up. We love this place, but SSHHHH. Don’t tell everyone. We like the peace and quiet there

The rental unit is very clean and has a wonderful view. The furniture is really nice and the master bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the location and didn't mind the walk to the private beach just a block from the building. Having the umbrella and two chairs set up for us each day was so wonderful! The owners, Diane and Bob, are the nicest people who really respond to anything you may need. This is a very nice complex and the pool area is the real draw for families. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. However, and this isn't to distract from the rental unit as that was excellent, the spa area needs better signage with clearly defined rules to indicate small children, babies, rafts & floats should not be in the spa.

We stayed as snowbirds for a couple months it was beyond our expectation! The view is incredible: imagine waking up to the ocean every day! And a special surprise, you can see the sunset from the front door! The elevator, heated pool and covered parking made it even more comfortable and enjoyable. The furniture is updated and comfortable and our son loved the bunk beds, which felt very sturdy and safe. Two bathrooms was also a bonus. We loved Unit 505 at Beach Resort! Thank you Diane and Bob for being the most gracious and helpful hosts!

Great unit, great spot, great people! We loved our time at Beach Resort 505. Our 4 year old twins had a blast in the pool, at the beach, and with the bunk beds. Everything you need is taken care of and everything is close by. The parking garage spot and beach chairs were great bonuses! It’s also beautifully furnished.

We really enjoyed our stay at Beach Resort 505! The view of the gulf from our condo was amazing! The pool was really nice. We loved the private beach. The condo is very nicely decorated and clean. We loved having two full bathrooms. We’d love to stay there again! We were sad when our week was over.

Our family of 6 stayed at Bob and Diane’s condo at Christmas 2018. From the moment we entered the condominium we knew our vacations will be pretty special! Spacious and testfuly decorated brought smiles to all our faces. And in the living room waited for us Christmas tree and and a great bowl of fresh fruits that Bob and Diane were so thoughtful and prepared for us!!!!! Heated Pool and jacuzzi were very well maintained and we spent many hours in it. Even though we were is Destin in December our kids still were able to go to the beach and even had boogie boards fun in the water that surprisingly wasn’t to cold for that time of the year!!! We had a magical time and we cannot wait to return! Bob and Diane were an excellent hosts and very knowledge about local dining and places to see. We stay in this condo every time we visit Destin. It is the perfect size for our family of 4. The kitchen is well equipped. The bed is the best we have found on vacation. The pool is perfect for our children. The beach is beautiful! The beach service is awesome. There is even a parking spot in the garage. We have stayed here at least 10 times are are always pleased. Bob and Diane are great to work with and always willing to help or accommodate in any way. We consider Beach Resort #505 our home away from home!! Thanks Bob and Diane!!

We stayed in this condo in July 2018. Everything was as promised, and exactly as stated in property description. Condo is less than a 100 meters from the gorgeous beach. Beach service was great. Everything in the condo was in working condition. The pool and hot tub were in well kept as well. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Overall, highly recommend this condo, and will definitely stay again! Thank you!
