About the owner: We are Wisconsinites with a child still in school and that is why this lovely place is available to the public. We hope to spend more time there when we retire. You can't help but love the Keys!
Why this property? This property is not on US 1 so no road noise. Location is peaceful and serene. The panoramic ocean Views are incredible from this condo. The extra window in the living room makes you feel as though you are in a home rather than a tunnel like condo. The pelicans fly so close sometimes to the balcony, you almost feel as though you could reach out and touch them. It is so lovely. We like the layout of this condo as both bedrooms have a full ocean view and access to the oceanfront balcony. It is also close to the pool which we like very much. You can take the circular staircase down to the pool for the elevator. We like that the balcony is open on all three sides to afford lovely wide views.

Great Views, Comfortable Condo, Great Bargain!
My wife and I stayed here the first week in September, 2018 and wouldn't you know it, we got a tropical storm! It was just one rainy day however. This condo is on the 5th floor of a 7 story building, the 6th floor and a penthouse. The view is the best one can get in the area as this condo faces east and is an end condo. Others face south. While out quite a distance on John Pennekamp Park diving, we could still see this building. It is apparent that the entire first floor was damaged by Hurricane Irma as they are rebuilding everything. A building across the street was completely torn down and removed in 2 days while we were here! I noticed some condos in this building were being gutted and rebuilt. There is a sandy area shore-side but no beach (there are very few beaches in the Keys) but the water is shallow to step in. There is also a large pool. This condos very comfortable and has just about everything one would need to live there. All the kitchen utensils along with a good oven, microwave and fridge with an ice dispenser in the door. Two full bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with 2 twins along with two full baths. A dining area and living room where there is a sliding glass door that leads to the balcony where one could eat on the dinette set or just relax on the loungers. The TV in the living room has a great HD picture and is connected to a great cable system. The WiFi is very fast. There was even a box fan with "for white sound" written on it. I can't count the fans I've purchased and left behind exactly for that purpose. When we were there, plenty of parking was available. A covered parking spot also comes with the condo but it was easier parking closer to the door. As I mentioned, the first floor was damaged by Irma and although the elevator worked, it was beat up.The shower in the master bath was so large that a door or curtain was not needed and it was beautifully tiled but was flawed by the fact that no shelves or alcoves were built-in. I had to have my soap, shampoo, etc on the floor! This does not work. The problem could be fixed with a floor to ceiling pole with shelves made for this purpose. Another problem with this shower was the water pressure. I am sure the shower head is restricted but to a ridicules degree. Very hard to get wet! This condo is very centrally located in the upper keys with many fine restaurants and attractions nearby. The rate we paid beats a motel and is a real bargain!

New elevators were purchased and will be installed. The master shower head was adjusted and we added a soap holder. The second bedroom's new extra long twin beds convert to a comfy king bed. We are ever mindful of providing a wonderful vacation experience for our guests.
