About the host: My family has lived in Florida for more than 30 years. We enjoy being outdoors and taking advantage of the beautiful weather Florida has to offer year round. We now live full time in beautiful Key Largo upstairs at this location.
Why this property? We chose Key Largo and specifically Riviera Village to be on the Bayside and enjoy beautiful sunsets over the Florida Everglades. We take pride in our property and ask our guest to do the same. Please understand that this is our full time home that we rent the downstairs apartment to help offset the cost of ownership. We have great local knowledge and have been in the rental property / vacation rental business for over 10 years.

Are the Check-in Dates Flexible?
Yes. As long as the calendar dates are available we are flexible with the 28 day stay.
Do you offer other amenities like Kayaks and Bicycles and is there a fee for guests to use them?
We do provide access to paddles, life vests, kayaks and bicycles during your stay. No additional fee is required just a waiver.
Where can we paddle once we launch from the beach...i.e. the bay, ocean, lagoon, cove, canal, etc?
Our neighborhood is a great place to bike ride and you can launch kayaking directly from our waterfront park. Staying Bayside is the easiest as Adam's Cut is a very busy waterway and not safe to kayak through. We have access to bars 1 mile south and a nature lake about 1 mile north.
Are there places nearby to go snorkeling right off the beach (not by boat) where the snorkeling and fish are abundant?
Just South of us is a Church that has an old dock area that has a boat sunk and is great for local snorkeling. We also have a County Park (Rowell's) that is easy to walk to ( 1/4 mile), adjacent to that church, that has a basin and is a very nice spot to snorkel. and easy to walk to.
Is the apartment accessed by a private entrance? Are there any other apartments in the building on the first level or upper levels?
The exterior picture in the listing shows the private front door entrance on the west side of the house and the windows to the Kitchen and LivingRoom facing the backyard. The upper level is where we live fulltime. The front side of the lower floor is where I have my home office and that has a Private Entrance on the east side of the house. Under the carport is a common area laundry room that we will provide you a door code to use.
What is the monthly rate based on?
The monthly rate is based on a 28 night stay as that is the minimum required rental duration.
