RobStunning lake view, quiet and peaceful area 30-40 min to theme parks
We had a wonderful stay in April during UK Easter holidays, as a family of 4 adults and 2 children. The house is spacious and pretty much as described on the website. As we were a smaller party, we only used the upstairs bedrooms, not the additional 2 downstairs off the lounge area. The pool was our favorite area, it was heated with an adjacent spa with bubbles and mood lighting at night. The kids loved it too.The view from the pool area is very tranquil, overlooking the lake but thankfully protected by a mesh surround which is good as we saw a few Alligators in the lake during our stay so watch your step if you use the BBQ which is outside the meshed area. Some of the areas were a little old fashioned but it didn't impact our stay.The kitchen has a dishwasher, large fridge freezer and enough cutlery/plates for us all, the only thing we found was lacking was a cheese grater and a few nice serving bowls rather than plastic.There was sadly no welcome pack. We've stayed in 100’s of rentals in the past that have supplied basic cupboard cooking essentials and also leave you a fresh loaf of bread, butter, juice and a chilled bottle of wine etc which is always welcome if you've just been traveling.We made use of the games room the in garage, mainly the pool table which was great but found that it would have been more fun if decorated and with some softer lighting, perhaps funky wall art and some nice sofas as they looked very old and worn, not very inviting to sit on. Regardless we still had fun.Diane was a great host and even stopped round with some gas when our BBQ ran out! Highly recommend.
