The quaint city center of Venice is about the same distance to the great restaurants, boutique stores and a boulevard park that features music events, art shows, and a weekly farmers market.
Golfers are 5 minutes to the lsland's driving range and golf course. Join in with good fishing, shark tooth searching, and boating or cycling along the inter-coastal waterway.
The villa community has a heated pool and deck to enjoy the sun. But you may not get past the front patio or front grass area because you will feel so much at home in the villa's living room or tv area. Comfortable furniture, large screen tv, quick internet, and a modern kitchen ensure that life indoors will meet your expectations.
But you'll want to get off the comfy coach to join the locals at the beach for the daily ritual of watching the spectacular sun set.

Venice is a very walkable city. There are paved walking paths all through the city as well as well maintained side walks. Easy walks from the villa include picnic tables for your sunset appetizers. Fins cocktail bar at the beach, Sharkeys Fishing Pier to pick up local souvenirs, the local library, the local Arts club for art classes and shows, the Venice museum, a marina for boat rentals, grocery store, and pharmacies and take out food restaurants.

Area featured restaurants include Sharkey's at the Pier, Crow's Nest at the South Jetty, and Casariano's Fine Italian dining. There is a restaurant for every palette and budget. Two places that can't be missed, though. are Crossaint and Co., local French bakery, and Gold Rush for famous barbeque.

Why this property? Venice became our home in 2005 based on a professional career move and we moved to the island in 2013 to be closer the beaches and get into the laid back island lifestyle.
