Our son is a metal sculptor and several of his sculptures grace our condo. The condo does not feel like a hotel room, it feels like a home.

About the owner: My husband and I are retired. I was a college lecturer in early childhood education and early childhood special education at the University of Vermont and a consultant with the Vermont Department of Education. My husband Don was a painting contractor and manager of a paint and glass store.
We live in Vermont in the summer and spend the winter in Dunedin. We have two sons and two grandsons that keep up going back to Vermont in the summer.
Why this property? We had rented in Dunedin several times, finally landing a rental here at Dolphin Pointe Condominiums. We fell in love with it here due to access to the Pinellas Trail, Honeymoon Island and it's frontage on St. Joseph's Sound. We bought in 2016 and completely renovated. We had always fixed up and sold houses, but this was our final renovation.
The sense of community is strong here at Dolphin Pointe. Owners are friendly, we have a house band, residents are invited go out for dinner together once a week and we have holiday parties in the Clubhouse.
This is not only a rental, it is also our home for half the year. It does not feel like a hotel, it feels like a home. Additionally, our son is a metal sculptor and the condo contains some of his work.
If you want to feel like you are at home while in the sunshine state book here! A cozy little place close to the water with the best sunsets and the kindest owners. I felt safe and comfortable while staying here and can’t wait to return! Best place to stay in all of Florida!
