Beaches surrounding our home:
ST JOE BEACH: 6-8 minute bike ride to the end of our street (or 1-2 minute car ride) where you can use the boardwalk to access the beach paths
WINDMARK BEACH: 5 minute car ride- beach with nearby amenities
MEXICO BEACH- 10 minute car ride- beach with nearby amenities
CAPE SAN BLAS- 30 minute car ride- try the state park at the end of the cape too!

You can walk, bike, or drive to the ocean. Parking is available at/near the boardwalk entrances and community pool. Private and public beach access available.
Community Pool: About a 5 min drive (Summer of 2023, our area will have a zero entry pool installed 1 block away!). Please note that community pool closures are not within our control and not do result in a refund.

Parking in our neighborhood is only allowed in the driveway and garage (no street parking).

Area Information

Windmark Beach offers something for everyone. Our new area is minutes from the white sandy beaches. A zero entry heated pool overlooking the ocean is available in Windmark Village. The local town offers the perfect pace to relax, unwind, shop, charter a fishing trip, or grab a bite to eat. The state park on the cape and many other outdoor adventures await you as well. Once you experience all that we have to offer, you'll book again!

Dean & Stephanie's Top Picks:

The White Marlin: Wow...my new favorite of favorites. If you want fine dining and a gorgeous view, this is a must on your list. We had Brown Butter Scallops (Starter), the Chicken Marsala, & Blackened Mahi Over Goat Cheese Grits. I can not find any better words than purely yummy!

The View on Old 98: The food is great and the view is amazing. I'm always about the view. Seafood, Steak, Chicken- check out the menu on their website

KrazyFish Grille: Located on Highway 98 in Port St Joe. Good food and fun environment- kinda what you think of when you envision beach town food. I like the  Caribbean Jerk Chicken Salad & Mahi Tacos.

Joe Mama's Wood Fired Kitchen:  If you have a hankering for some yummy hearth baked pizza, this is your place. Pretty greaseless crust- at least our was. Great Salad.

Bayside Bakery: Let's start with dessert. Sometimes you need to base your decisions on dessert. We are pretty much addicted to this place- it's a breakfast/brunch/lunch place. But I'm not sure if that should be your priority when you visit. Just skip the meal & get dessert. 

The Blue Parrot: It's a small trek (50 min?), but well, well worth it if you want that right on the beach vibe. My favorite appetizer was the Bahamian Conch Fritters. You can take a walk on the beach when your finished- and if you bring your suit, take a swim. Even rent a jet ski (if they have their booth set up).
Bruno's Pizza Windmark Village: Pizza is terrific but so is the salad. If you need to get your veggies for the day, this is it. Get a large and share- we split it as a side salad amongst 3-4 of us.
