Bay Oaks is on Siesta Key island near Sarasota. There are only a few bridges that get you on the islands so traffic during March break was not great. But if your prepared for this then just sit back and wait patiently. This apartment is on the bay side and is across the street from one of the most amazing beaches ever. Crescent beach has white fluffy sand, warm clean water which made it an ideal place to spend the week with our family. From Bay Oaks the public beach access is a bit of a walk which was the only downfall. Lucky the apartment had few fun things in their balcony closet for the beach, like a wagon that we put all of our belongs in to make the walk to the beach. They also supplied chairs and umbrellas which is a must. No trees or shade on the beach. The apartment itself was great. Lots of room, as we had 4 adults and 2 teenagers with us. It has all that you need, washer, dryer, dishwasher and blow dryer. Bonus there is a Costco and grocery store near by. I would definitely rent again.
