Paradise awaits you in this weekly home rental in Marathon, Fl. A peaceful canal front home on Flamingo Island, close to everything a vacation property in the Keys has to offer. This beautiful 3-bedroom, 3-bath home on the water located on a quiet cul de sac, filled with natural light, open views of the canals, casually brings comfort and calm. Tiled floors throughout, open space Living, Dining and Kitchen with all the updated appliances you could ask for in a weekly rental.
You will love the arched openings on both levels of the home, overlooking the waterway while maintaining some privacy as you watch the occasional manatee, fish, birds, and other wildlife break up your quiet thoughts, leaving you with just enough anticipation of seeing more… or relaxing on a lounge chair by the pool, while cooking up the day’s catch in the outdoor kitchen!
Outdoor living space on both levels of the home, the screened upper patio features a teak dining table under fans, or a couple of swivel rockers to just relax and enjoy the day, the downstairs poolside patio features more dining space, along with a couple of Adirondack chairs, an outdoor kitchen with more seating, and if that isn’t enough, there is a large lot with additional seating, a swing under a big shade tree, a concrete table to enjoy some snacks while watching the corn hole game going on… and when you want a break,… hit that chilled pool that is kept at 82-85 degrees!!! Talk about some chill on a 95-degree day… who doesn’t enjoy sipping that cold drink while sitting poolside.
With room for a 50-55 ft boat (boat lift not available to use) a fish cleaning station and outdoor shower, you are minutes away by boat to Sisters Creek, to the ocean, or the gulf, for a day of fishing or playing, or Boot Key Harbor to idle around sightseeing. Most Restaurants have dockage and can be reached by boat.

Kayaks to use if wanted to, dock for 50-55' boat, plus other extras! Pool Alarms on doors, and gated yard to access dock for safety. Chilled/heated pool, outside shower on dock to rinse off after a long day fishing. We want you to have a 5 star stay, so we have tried to think of anything you may need.
Minutes from open water through Sisters Creek to the Ocean, Boot Key Harbor, the Gulf. Located 3 miles from Sombrero Beach, 1 mile to Grocery stores, minutes by car to Turtle Hospital, Crane Point, Restaurants, Bars oct. One hour to Key West, for a great day trip. Golf course about 1/2 mile away, Convenient to everything, but quiet enough that you don't realize how close you are. Located on a wide, deep canal, bring your 50-55 ft boat and enjoy this serene location with large lot to play cornhole, or just relax on swing.

I love the arches and natural light throughtout the house ... a very calming comfortable space was my first impression when I first entered the house with realtor. It's only a mile to Publix, and Rt 1, so secluded enough for some privacy, but close enough to everything you need. Minutes by boat to Sisters Creek, the Ocean, Boot Key Harbor and on to the Gulf. Protected Canal for your boat, or take a trip around the island in the kayaks!

As one of the larger keys and being centrally located, you may enjoy a day trip to Key West, to visit some of the museums, head to the Dolphin Research Center in Grassy Key, do the Art Walk in Islamorada or spend your day in Marathon, and visit the aquarium, the turtle hospital or just spend the day at Sombrero Beach. Most resturants and grills are waterfront, so take your boat and enjoy lunch, then head to the sandbar or lighthouse for some snorkeling and playing. It's only minutes by boat to Sisters Creek, the Ocean, Boot Key Harbor and on to the Gulf.

About the owner: We bought this property and moved to Marathon in 2020, after living on a boat for the last 2 years in Islamorada. We started a journey of traveling from Maryland on the Chesapeake Bay, down the Intercoastal Waterway to different parts of Florida in 2016. Our first trip was an experiment to see how we enjoyed it beore we retired. Needless to say, we loved it and did it a few more times before settling in Islamorada, as we searched for our "new" home. We put our Maryland house up for sale in 2019, because we knew this was our destination of choice.
Why this property? We have been visiting Marathon since 1980 and knew we wanted to spend our retirement years here. We started looking for a house 2 years ago and after visiting several ... this house felt like we had come home. We enjoy the quiet, convenience and beauty of the area and enjoy sharing this with others.

I have rented in the Keys for almost 10 years in a row; different areas including Key Colony, Marathon, Key West and Key Largo. This location in Marathon is by far my favorite. I have never had such an nice host who checked on us to ensure we had everything we need. And let me say, you have EVERYTHING a guest needs. From any kind of kitchen utensil, to pool toys, to kayaks and more. The comfort and beauty of the home was outstanding and of course, the outdoor living space, including outdoor kitchen was out of this world! The dockage and fish cleaning was great as well - and of course, the pool with the umbrella to keep you out of the heat! Can't wait to go back.

We completely enjoyed our stay. The home sits on two gorgeous lots on a canal leading to the gulf with a dock and lifts for a boat. It has a pool to let you cool off after a day in the sun. The home is very comfortable, has all the amenities and the owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome. If you are going to the Keys to fish or just enjoy the tropical nature of the area I would highly recommend this home.

This property is even better than the photos! Debra has thought of every detail! From the MLB network available on the huge TV in the outdoor kitchen area that my husband LOVED, to the refreshing swimming pool and the pool toys/floats, coolers, towels, beach chairs, fishing equipment, private dock, kayaks, corn hole boards, proximity to both the gulf and the ocean, sunscreen, toiletries, coffee station, charging station, abundant seating options (both indoor and outdoor), wine/beverage cooler upstairs in the kitchen, mini fridge and additional cooled storage in the outdoor kitchen - you will not want for anything!! Grocery stores are nearby, as was the company from which we rented a boat. We went to Key West one day in a scenic 1 hour or so drive. We cooked at the house most nights and had everything we needed for all kinds of meals. I love to see new things, but I can't wait to come back to Ashlynn's Paradise!

This is an incredible vacation home! The kitchen and living area is spacious and comfy. The kitchen was great because often there was 3 of us in there at a time and we didn't get in each other's way. The outside porch was perfect for dinner and the downstairs area was AMAZING. The entertainment area was a favorite hangout and the pool was great for my kids. The canal/dock area was spacious and perfect to store the kayaks they provide and the toys we brought and still plenty of room for fishing poles. I cannot wait to stay here again. The bedrooms and bathrooms were beyond 5 stars. Having the grocery store and beach so close was wonderful. The host was extremely responsive and caring. This was the best vacation home we have ever stayed in! I can't wait to go back!

Ashlynn's Paradise is our new Paradise. We gave it 6 stars out of 5 !! The home is in a perfect location, beautiful, roomy, and the hosts go above and beyond from every aspect. We also rented a boat and there was plenty of room to dock and easy access to open waters. Fishing is great in the area too. The pool, kayaks, and large yard with outdoor fun added to our perfect week here.
