Watermelon Sugar is a beautiful 4 bedroom, 3-1/2 bath, pet-friendly home located just outside the top-ranking St. Joseph State Park. This home is in the Barrier Dunes gated community that has stocked fishing ponds, 2 swimming pools, lighted tennis courts and a playground. Short 300 steps to a pet-friendly beach.

This family friendly home, perfect for six adults and children, has it all for your seaside vacation! A full kitchen with all the bells and whistles, washer/dryer, 2 screened-in porches, hardwood floors throughout, wireless internet and the list goes on and on. Watermelon Sugar features a large open floor plan with a large open living/dining/kitchen for quality family time. The top level features the primary bedroom with a king bed and master bath complete with a private deck for morning coffee or evening cocktails. This level features three other bedrooms: one with a queen bed and full bath, one with a queen bed, the other with full-over-full bunk beds with full trundle and a single twin bed.

The second level features a full kitchen with all amenities, beautiful dining ares, laundry area and half bath. The home features outdoor free parking as well as an enclosed 3-car garage (garage is small and can accommodate compact car only). This home has 2 large screened-in porches and lots of windows for views of the Gulf!

You won't soon forget your stay at Watermelon Sugar and will want to recapture those family memories year after year!!

There is a screen porch off the master bedroom to enjoy cocktails and views of the beautiful sunsets and also a screen porch off the lower level.. The screened in porches do have rocking chairs to relax in while enjoying the Gulf breeze and listening to the sounds of wildlife and oceans waves.This home comes with everything you should need! All bed and bath linens, beach towels are supplied as well as all cookware/dinnerware/glassware in the kitchen. A gas grill is included to grill your "catch of the day" or a great dinner. We also provide an initial supply of toilet paper, garbage bags, laundry, coffee, dish and bath soap.

The stand alone home of Watermelon Sugar surely made our stay at Cape San Blas memorable. The stand alone Home is in a gated community at the end of the peninsula, very close to the State Park, and also to Restaurants. The Home is beautiful, and a short walk to the beach and pool. Communication both prior to our arrival and during our stay was spot on, and the keypad entry made entries and exit trouble-free. The Home is tastefully outfitted with all you need in kitchen, and each bedroom had their own bathroom. If you are going to enjoy lovely Cape San Blas, be sure to grab this fine accommodation before it is gone.

Nice house! Great community.

We found the house to be very nice and very clean. Even though it was about a five min. walk to the beach, it wasn’t difficult, and the beach wagon that was available in the garage really made it much easier. There were even bikes there that we enjoyed using! The Barrier Dunes community is quiet and well-kept. It has a nice family atmosphere. We would definitely enjoy staying at this house again! A few suggestions would be: - Add a door (or at least a privacy screen that could be placed in the doorway) to the upstairs bedroom that has no door. This room really needs some privacy. - Add another step stone from the driveway to the boardwalk. It appears one is missing, and this created a trip hazard for the grandparents in our party. - Provide more washcloths. Thanks for the great stay!
