Let’s described the perfect travelers that rent our rooms. They are one single person or a couple (max) that are searching for an affordable, fully furnished, all utilities and everything-in-one price room that is seriously roach & bedbug free, safe, is one level (first floor) with parking at your door (no parking across the street or in the guest spot in a giant parking garage). Features a swimming pool, a cool outdoor kitchen, and free laundry. And bonus: is 10 mins from the beach, in an equestrian neighborhood of estate homes over $500K min and the view is mature trees and fern beds. AND wait – its in the Daytona Beach area. Yes, that does still exist.
To begin, let’s start with the benes (the good stuff). We are the highest 5-star rated across every vacation rental channel. People love to stay with us. Our offering is one of two 350 sq ft STUDIO rooms in our luxury detached guesthouse in our backyard. It sits on 1.25 acres and is steps from the screened in large saltwater pool you are welcome to use.
The guesthouse was created in 2020 and open for business in March 2021. Each room is the same size and is non-adjoining. They each have separate entrances with deadbolt security and separately keyed. Each has its own Master with en suite bathroom with walk in shower that feeds from a tankless water (endless hours of hot showers never to run out) and once you’re out of the shower, use the built in towel warmer to lightly warm your towel to dry off. Towels and shower supplies are included.
Back in the bedroom you will find a memory foam mattress pad that is uber comfy, wood pattern tile floors through the BR & BA, large portable closet with shelves, and a desk and chair to work from. Each room has its own private fridge/freezer, microwave, and Keurig with its own dishware, flatware & glassware for your use. Electronics include individual air conditioning units for each room per COVID, a 48” flat screen HD Smart TV that has on it all the subscription channels logged into that you need. Peacock, Netflix, Amazon Prime, FUBOTV for local channels!! The guesthouse has lightning fast Cable internet to power the TV and all of your devices – included. The rooms are comfortable and amazing. For dining we are installing this month (July 2022) a brand new outdoor kitchen with granite counter tops and propane powered 5 burner gas grill for steaks, chicken or fish - and two gas stove top burners for sides, plus a rotisserie unit and a night light that illuminates the grill and neon blue accented dial. All in the modular kitchen is a commercial faucet & sink, trash, and tons of cabinet & drawer storage filled with pots, pans, cooking gear, everything you need. On a separate cart you’ll find an electric convection oven for everything from toasting to warming up grocery store rotisserie chickens. Its is on a mobile stainless steel cart that during inclement weather can be brought into your room to cook so long as you don’t fry anything – no splatter. We have to see that you are responsible with this privilege or will remove the cart to avoid damaging the room’s interior. So yes there is no formal kitchen. We provide a custom picnic beach and chairs for 8 with umbrella comfort. Our plan is to install a gazebo or other cover over the outdoor kitchen & dining area (has to be permitted first). Read our reviews if you have any concerns. We’d never had an indoor kitchen, and in spite of it, we have rented the two rooms out almost continuously since opening it in March 2021. For the price, everyone adjusts.
Living room space is also shared and also outdoor. It’s a set with daybed & rocking chair and cantilever umbrella with solar lights for night time use. See pictures.
There is the 32’ x 16’ saltwater swimming pool you are welcome to use (rules apply for running, glass and bathing suits required). Walk or bike or run our neighborhood and you are guaranteed to see horse in our neighbors front yards. Our neighborhood is very very quiet and safe. We’ve been here 20 years in 2023. We love it and think you will too.
If you are willing to work within the constraints of outdoor and indoor living AND you love the price vs. other comparable furnished studios vs the price of a larger place, especially in season then we invite you to inquire about dates. No kids, no pets, no smoking, no guns, no parties, no drugs.

Unlike anything else you'll find in our area. Very private. Secluded in our backyard. Oblivious to noise, crime - lots of space in over an acre to spread out and breathe. No neighbors or people in your face. Time and space in the sunshine all to yourself.

Area Information
Port Orange is on the west end of Daytona Beach. We live in what is called "The Farms" because we are outside city limits which has its freedom and large agricultural pieces of land. We live on 1.25 acre in a very quiet upscale, wealthy neighborhood. Its is very safe for you to walk, jog or bike for exercise. And private enough for you to enjoy your vacation without the distraction of neighbors. The guesthouse is a new structure on our property and you will be one of the first to enjoy it. It smells fresh & clean and is filled with all of our favorite amenities. We hope you love it.
Attractions Within Walking Distance
The Pioneer Trail - part of the Florida Historic Trail System that spans from the East Coast of the state to the West. Thousands of beautiful miles you can walk, run, bike or horseback ride. The area in our county is paved along backwaterways. Our neighborhood is also an upscale area of equestrian estate homes.. We love it here and have lived here for almost 20 years. Its close to the beach, shopping, restaurants, the Speedway and more, yet we're on the western outskirts on over an acre in the quiet farms area. Very quiet, very private.
Favorite Places To Eat
This area has every flavor of food to eat from seafood to sushi to steaks and everything in a 5-10 mile radius. Plenty of take out and delivery available to enjoy on the picnic table outside of your room under the umbrella in the serenity of the mature trees.

There is a damage deposit required to replace things taken, excessive use or staining of comforters, linens, bath rugs & towels, broken furniture or electronics and for NOT cleaning your areas while you are here or bringing in excess dirt or sand into the room (for example).

Why this property? You'll find a detached villa of two non-adjoining rooms in the backyard of our 1.25 acre estate pool home in a quiet and private equestrian community. You cannot beat the surroundings and our hospitality. Unlike anything else you'll find in our area.

How do I check availability?

Is there a deposit that has to be paid?
Yes. We collect a $500 damage deposit that is refunded if the unit and surrounding area are left as you found it. See the lease for more details.
What is your cancellation policy?
It is 100% refundable up to 48 hours after you book the trip and receive confirmation from us. Up to 7 days prior you can receive 50% back for any emergency. No refund for a lower rate elsewhere. Within 7 days of your check in date, there is no refund at all.

This cozy and quiet rental is impeccably appointed with the highest quality bed and bath features. The lovely hostess, LIsa, provides an incredible amount of amenities and extras to insure that your stay is comfortable. Surrounded by lovely landscaping and access to a gorgeous pool, the rental includes a private patio with twinkling lights. There is easy access to surrounding beaches and attractions. We will be back!
