About the owner: I come from a Navy family, so a childhood trip to the Keys made for memories I have never forgotten. Fourty some years later the area called again and I am delighted to host families to this magnificent retreat to recharge, restore, remote work and reconnect to **gratitude** and those they love. It's a quiet, friendly community I cherish living in.
Why this property? In my opinion, there isn't a better sunset view in the Keys. There are others, and they are worth doing. That said, the unbroken sightline row of chickees makes an exquisite view for the sunset which simply does not get old!! Also, the rarity of a service lift and a natural water edge -- it is simply unparalleled.

Steve and Niecie G.Perfect Vacation Home for our big dogs and us!
A perfect vacation home for us and our 2 big boxer dogs. The yard was completely fenced in where our large dogs could have a lot of space to run yet not be where our cars would park. They could be with us on the wonderful little fishing pier or by the pool yet out of site of neighbors with the huge private yard. The owner provided dog beds inside the home, doggie treats and bowls of fresh cold water upon arrival. The owner even gave us permission that the dogs could sit with us on the leather sofas. The house was spotless upon arrival and had no pet smell what so ever.Our very favorite aspect of this vacation home was the pool. We have stayed for decades in the lower keys with "heated pools" but would still be too chilly no matter what we did in this March period but this home with this salt water pool on day one felt as warm as a bath. There were so many pool floats and toys provided and the pool was private to neighbors. Prior to our arrival I asked about the number of chase lounges by the poor and the 2 became 6.Icing on the cake was the elevator....we were able to load our luggage and cases of water and other beverages and not have to carry up the steps. The elevator went from the ground floor near where you park your car and stopped at each floor...right by the kitchen and 3rd floor bedrooms.Everything we needed was provided and the 3 huge leather sofas were a plus all with great TV and outdoor views. All of the beds were so very comfortable and great views from all 5 bedrooms. We loved having a sliding door from our bedroom where we could let the dogs in and out without having to take them down the inside steps bothering other guests during the night or early mornings. There were books to read and board games to play. The owner even made us a delicious cake and had supplies to make spaghetti for our first night. Baby's coffee was right up the street and a little shop with delicious breakfast sandwiches and the plus there were pet chickens to feed. So often when we have stayed on the water we were on a canal w neighbors but this view was across a large body of water and only with binoculars could you see little huts at a campground. The water was deep at the dock 8 ft yet a ramp to put over the provided kayaks or swim. Tons of grey snapper, parrot fish to watch. The downfall was only 2 full baths and the outdoor shower only cold water. The Tiki hut was amazing providing a great place to eat Stone Crab Claws and party.
